Awesome spot!
Tent camping was very nice, though river access was limited due to overgrowth of foliage, there might have been an access we didn't ask about, so it could have been my fault. Awesome, secluded property, 10/10

Peaceful play to disconnect
David was great, it was a bit of an adventure to come in on the gravel road but we'll worth it. I will stay again and recommend it to others.

The heart of Kentucky
A fantastic spot in the heart of Kentucky! David’s wife provided fantastic communication prior to our arrival, and took the time to provide detailed directions to make sure we had no issues finding the property.
Upon our arrival, David had the campsite setup with plenty of firewood, 5-gallons of water, and a dozen fresh eggs waiting for us. A great cooking setup with a a big fire pit, strategically placed for cooking and conversations. David has a great outhouse setup, and while primitive, is exactly what you need in that setting. There’s even an axe throwing setup!
The quiet, secluded campsite, nestled into a spacious peninsula was pure serenity and highlighted the beauty of the lake. The only sounds we heard were fish jumping, cows, David’s horses (which are beautiful!), the neighbor’s donkeys (which made us laugh every time), and the countless birds allowed us to completely disconnect and rediscover the beauty of nature.
The fishing was great. While we didn’t catch -as much as we wanted, it didn’t even matter. Just being on the water was spectacular.
Thanks to David and his wife for the tremendous hospitality!
