South of Lexington, in the heart of the Bluegrass, our little farm is making a big impact on our community. We raise chickens for eggs and meat, sheep for lamb meat, occasionally turkeys and a wide variety of produce and berries, along with bees for honey. Our peacocks are here for pure pleasure, but we do pick up feathers and design crafts with them from time to time. Whether we're planting seeds, gathering eggs, or rounding up sheep, there's always something happening on the farm. Close by there's lots to do: golfing, fishing, boating, hiking, birding or touring the bourbon trail.Welcome to our peaceful farm RV site, south of Lexington, where you’ll enjoy a blend of nature, history, and rural charm. This flat, grassy site (with some gravel) offers full hookups:
Electric: 30-amp hookup (15/20-amp available with a simple adapter)
Water, Electric & Sewer: On-site for your convenience
Fire Pit: Perfect for cozy nights under the stars
Shaded Area: Great for relaxing when it’s too windy for your awning
While here, you may hear the gentle mooing of cows from the neighboring field, the whistles of distant trains crossing the historic High Bridge, and even the occasional cry of our peacock and his pea hen mate. Roosters may call in the distance, and our lambs and sheep add to the peaceful farm atmosphere.
Enjoy a view of the neighbor's historic tobacco barn, adding a touch of old-time charm to your stay.
If you’re bringing a 15/20-amp plug, you’ll need a simple adapter to convert a 30 amp receptacle (available for under $10 on Amazon—most RV owners already have one).
Depending on the season, you can purchase our produce and berries fresh off the field. Farm tours are available if you'll give advance notice.
Pets are welcomed to come but must be leashed or tethered and cleaned up after. We have a fenced in orchard that has a gate. If your pet needs a place to run, you're welcome to use that. Do not leave them unattended and please clean up after them. They cannot be allowed to roam free due to the livestock guardian dogs we have protecting our sheep and chickens.
Come relax, explore, and experience the sights and sounds of farm life while enjoying a well-equipped RV site. We look forward to hosting you!
