This is a quaint, off grid cabin located in Elliotsville, Me., surrounded by wilderness, next to the Appalachian Trail in the 100 Mile Wilderness. Propane lights, glass front woodstove, fully operational kitchen, propane cookstove, fire pit out front, BBQ grill on porch. Firewood and propane and plenty of water at sink provided. 2 8ft kayaks for your use to explore all the ponds and lakes nearby. You can spend days or weeks exploring the area, hiking, biking, canoeing, mountain climbing and swimming. Its like going back in time a hundred years but you have some cell reception, unlike our ancestors. Have made several improvements to cabin not yet reflected in guest photos. Yeti type cooler provided for refrigeration of food for longer stays. The cabin is small but can accommodate 5 easily. Queen bed with bunk beds in 1st floor bedroom, full size and twin bed in upstairs bedroom. Clean linens provided. Open kitchen and living room. This is a quaint cabin nestled in the woods adjacent to the Appalachian Trail. Weeks could be spent exploring nearby hiking, fishing, atv'ing, canoeing or mountain climbing. It is smallish on inside but can easily accommodate 5 people. Queen bed with bunk beds on 1st floor bedroom and full size bed and single in loft bedroom. Propane lights and cookstove. Wood Stove for heat. Close to Moosehead Lake, Lake Onawa and many other lakes and ponds. Great place to truly escape.

100 Mile Wilderness Cabin
Excellent spot. Appreciate the on-site water and wood for fires. Would recommend doing everything in the folder in the cabin that Paul suggests

The cabin was everything we had hoped for. Rustic, off grid, quiet, and close to fishing, hiking, and off roading. I would definitely recommend the staying here if you're looking for a true off grid experience.

100 Mile Wilderness Cabin
This cabin was a great find! A step above a rustic with the propane lights and beds with bedding and with the fire was very cost! Lots of nice hikes around connecting with the AT and other scenic spots (Wilson falls and North Pond). Paul was a great host and was attentive to our water and firewood needs. We’ll be back!

100 Mile Wilderness Cabin
The cabin is true to the listing in that it is rustic. It's a VERY quiet setting, in the woods, a short distance from the Appalachian trail. A great place for anyone seeking solitude, an opportunity to be one with nature, or just a place to get away from the world for a bit. That being said, it is very comfortable and well equipped. Everything is clean and in good working order. I would definitely stay here again!

100 Mile Wilderness Cabin
We loved the privacy of the cabin. Within 20 feet of the cabin, we were on trail and into the 100 Mile Wilderness where it intersects with the Appalachian Trail. It was only a short walk to two beautiful ponds that have no houses or camps on them. It’s the perfect off grid experience. The propane lights provided ample heat for the time of year. We can’t wait to go back and light the wood stove in the Fall and/or Winter! It was great that we could bring our dog, Levi. He is afraid of everyone and everything and went right to our host Paul, the one and only time we saw him. He delivered us wood and we could’ve conversed with him for hours! The joy he gets from sharing nature and his slice of heaven was such a blessing!

Beautiful secluded space
It is an amazing rustic cabin. The walk to the pond is beautiful- the AT at that point is idyllic. Thank you for sharing your amazing space!
