-foragers delight, with the shady woods beginning to growing fungi later in the summer, and the area a local hotspot as described by renowned mycologist and author local toPull in off of road, & parking in the flat mowed area- driving down the woods road is not recommended, and shouldn't be attempted by anyone- it is only for tractor. There is a red cart for pulling gear the 150’ down wide path. The site has a composting toilet nearby, and a wood-chipped camping area with a large stainless smoke-free fire pit for safe and easy fires.
Woods road continues into interior of property which currently in the stages of being restored for both human and wildlife use. Wonderful fat-biking or winter XC-skiing is had on the network of woods roads and trails being built. Crossings of streams are beautiful babbling brooks with peaceful fern glens.
Many lakes nearby provide fantastic fishing and paddling opportunities year round, and a complete list of details provided upon request.

Firepit. Largest Solo-Stove size fire pit available with removable heat deflector for cool nights. Virtually smoke free if using dry firewood, but if using damp wood from the numerous downed branches on property some small amount of smoke is present. If it’s down and on ground, it’s free for use, but no cutting of live trees allowed.
