Hermit Hut
Kids and I had a fantastic time! The cabin is beautiful and the woodstove provided plenty of heat, even in February. We'll be back!

The cabin was beautiful and in a great location. Once up to temperature, it held the heat. The view and access to cabin was great.

Outhouse was HEINOUS. Like if I sat down I would have been sitting in someone else’s business with used tp tickling my rear.
Said there was potable water. They left one gallon of water.
Says insulated. It is not. Several areas where the wind blows right through. Someone tried to fill these holes in with tinfoil.
The experience with friends was nice but would definitely pick somewhere else to go especially if you like privacy as this place is right off a very public trail. We had ppl walking right into our area as if they owned the place as well as ppl trying to just come inside to warm up like it was normal even tho we had rented it out

We really enjoyed this yurt for winter camping. There was enough snow to ski in and out and plenty of good wood for the wood stove. You'll find a table and chairs plus two twin-sized bedframes, one with a mattress one without. There was plenty of room for us to add our full-sized camping mattress on the floor. It's real camping, nothing glamourous, but wonderful to have a cozy destination.

The land is beautiful and has so much to offer in any season. The space is clean and well cared-for. The loft is spacious and firewood provided. We packed in our own water but one could easily filter/ treat if the water isn't frozen! We didn't see a single soul the whole time, and enjoyed equally our relaxing by the fire and our walkabouts.
