Views!
Alisa has a beautiful property. What really stood out was the view, which we unfortunately only had for a few hours out of a 4 night stay (rainy & fogged in). The whole set up was cozy with the fire pit, picnic table and hammock right out front. The outhouse is right around the corner conveniently nestled in some trees. The smell of pine trees surrounding the area was so nice. It’s about 45 minutes out from Bar Harbor/Acadia. We unfortunately left a day early since the weather wasn’t great. Active dog/children owners, just be aware that there are some random holes throughout the property; I threw a frisbee for mine towards the back off of the driveway and he ended up tripping in what looked like could’ve possibly been an old dug out fire pit twisting his ankle that luckily only caused a limp for a day. A few small things that weren’t a huge deal; 2 dirty paper towels were left on the tables inside the cabin. A bee nest above the front door, got bothered a few times going in and out. The solar lights started malfunctioning or something the last night, flashing from 12am-4am not turning off with the remote (trying to sleep was tough!). Alisa did very kindly offer to send a portion back but I have not received or heard anything in a few days so I assume she got busy.

Motorcycle Camping Getaway Acadia
The property was perfect for our motorcycle camping trip. We originally planned to use the cabin strictly to keep our gear dry, but ended up sleeping in the cabin all nights of our stay. It was a great base camp to explore Acadia and the surrounding area while still being able to get away from the crowds of the park at the end of the day. The sunset views were gorgeous and the site privacy is amazing. Alisa was great about checking in and staying in touch during our stay.

Great place to stay!
Alisa was super helpful about location and nearby activities. The site has a beautiful view and was quiet and secluded. The outhouse was very clean and instructions for keeping that way were helpful. Close to Acadia for our bike rides and nearby Blue Hill food coop was wonderful. We stayed on the way to PEI and then again on the way home.

Such a beautiful spot! Great views, quiet, and a perfect cabin if you want some shelter. We loved our stay here, but it is on an open field so be sure to check for ticks.
