Come visit a converted Grange hall that was MOVED to its current location 10 years ago! Nestled on 35 beautiful acres, it gives you the chance to choose meadow or forest camping along with meeting some new animal friends! Learn more about this land: Come join us on Howling Goat Farm where you can pitch a tent on our field site for a front row seat of the night sky and a spectacular view of the Milky Way. OR we have a secluded site in our wooded area that you are more than welcome to stay in for a more private experience! We are a non-conventional camping area where we don't want anyone to think that they are sardines stuffed into a tiny lot. We keep our bookings to a minimum so more often than not you'll have a whole field to yourselves with more privacy than any other campground. We hope you'll join us for a few days of farm life and the simplicity that we can provide. We are within 4 miles of 95 and centrally located between Rangeley, Baxter, Moosehead and Acadia National Park.

Woods Tent & Small Group Site #1
My husband and I stayed a couple nights before heading farther north. We had a great stay! The camp spot was secluded and had an outhouse. And we got fresh eggs and got to meet and feed the family’s goats 😊 Our hosts were super friendly and accommodating, which is greatly appreciated when I know they have a farm to take care of! We loved walking the property looking for wildlife. Such a convenient spot from I-95 and near plenty of stores etc. We would def stay again!

Great place to be!
Great little spot - very clean and secluded site, and the wooden tent platform kept us nice and dry despite the damp conditions. Loved watching the fireflies in the field at night. Hope to be back again!

RV short term Site #2 (1-5 days)
We stopped over at Howling Goat Farm for a night on our trip through Maine. We have a small camper trailer and it was the perfect place. Easy, open site and friendly hosts. Thanks for a great stay!

Was a perfect spot for a stopover on our way up to New Brunswick. Ashely was very kind and helpful! The field was beautiful, especially at sunset. And the eggs…get the eggs!!! Oh and got greeted by runaway baby goats while drinking our coffee the next morning…they were sooooo cute!!!

It was a cute little spot! I stayed in the wooded tent spot and it was peaceful and quiet and in the morning we got to wake up to the goats and roosters it was a cute experience!
