Fireflies were a surprise!
We went on a rainy day but it was still amazing! We did not expect the fireflies at night so that was a sweet surprise. The tent site is very private and quiet. Hosts were very welcoming and nice. Many different birds were heard and seen during our stay. Lake view was awesome. We were trying to canoe and fish but the weather messed it up a bit. Will definitely come back on a better day!

Great place to stay!
What an amazing property. Quiet and very nicely set up. The firefly’s at night were the coolest. Thank you for sharing your property!

We love this peaceful spot on the river! A beautiful secluded spot to sit back and relax. Or take a nice hike through their trails. Can't wait to return!

Canvas Tent @ Slippery Rock Trail
Secluded Getaway
This was exactly what my husband and I were looking for a getaway to celebrate our anniversary. The site was beautiful with everything you might need including a grate for the fire pit, propane stove, lanterns, picnic table, Adirondack chairs, outhouse, trashcan, firewood (small additional cost), kindling, canoe (additional cost), and even a hammock. The canvas tent was perfect with a very comfortable queen size bed and mattress, just need to bring your own bedding. The location was perfect as well! Very nice secluded spot on a mini peninsula right along the Androscoggin River. It even had the perfect sandy swimming spot that was easily accessible. You get the whole traditional camping experience with a bit more comfort for sleeping. They even have nice wooded trails to walk on the property.
John, Pat, and Karen were wonderful, friendly hosts who always responded to messages promptly.
The only downside was the constant sound of cars carried over the water from the major roadways on either side of the river. But it didn’t bother my husband and I only heard it when I listened for it :). Just be aware it not so secluded that all you hear is nature.
