Stuart Little dreamhouse is a cabin on the edge of the woods, in the backyard of our home. The cabin is perfect for people who are camping, but want a little more accommodation. It has two futons that can turn into double beds, table and chairs, small porch, outhouse, and a picnic bench. Bring your sleeping bag and camp stove, and you are all set! There are also places to pitch a tent, if desired. We are just a mile down the road from where EB White lived, the setting of Stuart Little dream house (our yard) gives a glimpse into some real Maine living: Lots of boats and boat trailers, a rambling garden, and often a free pile at the end of the driveway. *Note: there is no kitchen. camp stove + fuel can be rented for $5/night *Note: Please bring a sleeping bag. Otherwise, bedding/linens can be rented at $10/bed. See site profile for more information. The cabin is situated on the edge of the woods, with a sea breeze, and the squawks of seagulls and owls. It’s also at the edge of the yard. In the cabin there are two double futons, a table and chairs, a small porch, and a picnic table to use. Bring your sleeping back and camp stove and you will be all set! Potable water provided. Bathroom is a custom out house with boating toilet. The cabin has no power, but there is an extension chord run from a work shed to power the fan and/or devices. There is a solar panel that runs two lights if it has been sunny out. -There is no kitchen. A camp stove can be rented for an extra fee at checkout. -There is no heat. -Please let me know if you need both futons pulled into beds before arrival. -Bedding is not included, but can be rented for an extra fee at checkout. *In your reservation request, please let me know you have read this by writing if you are bringing your own bedding/camp stove or you need to rent. Thanks! Additionally, the door to the cabin is repurposed from construction site where it was going to be thrown out. So there is no key to the door. There is one one cabin, so there will be no other campers. It is fairly private, however, it is near a home where 3 adults live, so you may see/hear other people. You will likely see Tressa tending/watering the garden. :-)

Stuart Little's Dreamhouse
Our stay at Stewart Little's Dreamhouse was Dreamy!! Three of us stayed in the cabin and had a wonderful time. The outhouse, little sink, picnic table, and solar powered outlets in the cabin all made the stay super easeful. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Stuart Little's Dreamhouse
I loved this little cabin stay. Easy arrival with sweet details like a welcome sign and extra care in communicating with me. I had a very long restful sleep and enjoyed making dinner on the front deck. It's tucked away from the street and main house with simple furnishings. Everything was clean, well-operating and there were great books to read! Highly recommend Harriman Point Preserve for a nice walking trail to the beach. I would definitely come back to explore Brooklin and Blue Hill more!

The cabin was a great place to sleep after a full day outside—simple, comfortable, easy to find, and tucked into the edge of the woods so it feels quite private.

Stuart Little's Dreamhouse
This cabin is located in the hosts backyard, but it is surrounded by trees so it feels very private at night. It was the perfect spot for me to stay with my dog. Easy to get to, and the parking is very close by. The bathroom was very nice. There is also drinking water. This is the prefect little place to stay if you are in the area!
