Our cabin is an off grid post and beam structure that we built 6 years ago. It's got a full kitchen, wood stove, and screened porch. The water is limited as is the electricity - there is a 60 gallon tank and two batteries charged by solar. Which means if we are without sun for a few days, this will effect the batteries for the lights and the water pump. We also fill a 150 gallon potable water tank outside of the cabin to supply water in the event the power runs out (we also provide a 5 gallon jug to bring water inside from the tank). There are a generous supply of lanterns (both battery and inflatable solar) flashlights and string lights for back up lighting. This is a small two story timber frame cabin off grid and secluded deep in the woods. It has limited water/power with a separate outhouse. The cabin has a king sized bed in the loft with a child size fold down bunk above it; there is also a pull out couch on the first floor. As well as a kitchen, screened in porch and fire pit. Linen, dishes and utensils are not included please bring all that you need. There is a propane 4 burner stove with oven and solar shower bags. Trash and campfire wood is included. We are very busy with kids and work, we try our best to clean and re-supply between guests but it is not always possible, please let us know if something needs attention!

Tiny house
I had the pleasure of staying in this tiny house in the woods and it was absolutely delightful! The space was cozy, clean, and inviting - the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The attention to detail and care put into this tiny house is evident in every aspect. I felt right at home and couldn't have asked for a more peaceful and relaxing stay. I highly recommend this tiny house in the woods to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway!" 5/5 stars!

A Wonderful Spot!
We had a wonderful stay! Tucker and family really thought of everything. -exceptional hosts. We over packed as a result! It is a clean, bright, quiet, comfortable space. Very well built, with neat details (like the live edges). We brought plenty of lanterns and flashlights, but there were also plenty available if we hadn’t. The twinkly lights were a favorite touch, and the solar system worked perfect when needed. Our family of 4, plus dog, had plenty of space. The ladder stairs going upstairs is a bit tricky (our dog slept downstairs) but the comfy bed was worth the climb. Our small daughter loved the lofted kids bunk, and our teen son was comfy on the added mattress. The screen porch was a great hang out spot, and we had big family-style meals on the large picnic table. Our son braved the solar shower for a quick clean, but we also appreciated the running sink inside. We brought plenty of bug spray to offset the ‘skeeters and ticks, and even made friends with an owl, a frog and some chipmunks. We all got used to the (very clean) outhouse quickly, and our daughter loved the outdoor swing. We ventured out to Head Tide Dam for a swim, explored Hidden Valley Nature Center down the road, and even stopped to see the alewives migrate at the fish ladder. It was a delightful 4-day staycation and we highly recommend this spot. We’ll be back! Thank you Neale family!

Perfect Getaway
Tucker's spot was a dream - great location, tucked away in the woods, easily accessible, all the amenities. We had a great getaway full of hiking, a dip in the river down the road, a delicious meal at the Alna Store, and more.
