Escape into the Forest
We loved Ken’s campsite and didn’t see another human the entire weekend. Our family enjoyed hiking through the hills, walking in the creek, and playing in the trees. Our hipcamp dog, Lucy, had an incredible time and is sleeping on the floor next to me as I write this.
I see what some other reviews said about trash and rallies. There is a small outdoor concert venue type of place adjacent to the campsites. When booking, I would check to see if any concerts are planned before booking, but what a beautiful escape from the chaos when the land is empty. We’ll be back several times in the near future.

Would stay again
Great site. Far enough from others that you have privacy. Walkable to porta-john. Need a SVU or better to get there confidently (we had a Toyota Highlander and Subaru Forester with no issues). Lots of tree coverage and shade. Getting there during the day is reccomended. Arrivimg at night was less than ideal.

This place was definitely private. I never saw another person at all. It is a festival grounds but it was empty on my trip. I never heard from or saw the host but it was a very clear dirt road to the sites.

Great Experience! Navigation tip..
Great site and camping experience - will absolutely come again. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the property is designed to host large festivals but when those aren't taking place the campsites are well spaced out and private. Our particular site was beautiful with vehicle parking in the woods and room for several tents. A wooden table and an established firepit was available, as were porta-johns a few mins walk or very quick drive up the hill. AWD might be a requirement in wet conditions but only a nice-to-have at all other times as there are some bumpy dirt hills that need to be traveled on to get around the property. It rained extremely hard about an hour prior to our arrival and we had no problems in a Honda Ridgeline. Bundles of high-quality firewood are available for $10.
For navigation: if you're using the app, the address listed in the instructions given to you is correct; if you click on the button to navigate which opens Google Maps, however, it takes you to coordinates that are in the wrong location. You should pull off of a normal road and immediately onto obvious festival grounds, not a long, narrow dirt road in the woods.

Highly recommend
I almost don’t want to tell anyone about this place. I loved it so much I want to keep this secret to myself. Ken the owner was very hospitable and very friendly. He has so much land and it’s easy to relax and not encounter another camper. We had our dogs off leash the entire stay. Our dogs loved the swimming hole with its crystal clear water. They have firewood and ice right on site. It’s a large fair ground style property with large fields and plenty of trees coverage as well. I highly recommend!!!
