PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING... 30 acres of mostly reclaimed farmland. We are located where Glade Creek flows into the Monocacy River. There is evidence of civil war activity here and the old river ford is on our property. Creek and river access make this a beautiful, peaceful place that is full of life. The energy here is overwhelmingly positive. Our house was built in the 1850s and the neighboring farm was built shortly after—lots of history on this property. You will be able to camp right next to Glade Creek which is always cool, clean, and refreshing. Our goal with opening the land up for camping is to eventually phase out commercial farming on the property and transform it into woodlands using native plants and trees. We've already started by planting hundreds of native tree species along the creek and river banks. Each camper gets us closer to that goal! Thanks for your support! Site Five - Ellie's Favorite

Perfect place to get away for the weekend. Lots of room to set up a couple of tents and enjoy nature. We went in January for a winter camp so didn't do a ton of exploring, but it was quiet and pretty.

Nice, quiet, well marked spot. Site 3 is a great location with the creek and river on two sides! Very clear directions and just enough signage.

What a great camping spot!! It's beautiful and I love having the water to wake up to. Having restaurants less than 10min turned out perfectly when dinner didn't work out so we needed food in a pinch.

This was a great trip! The site was cleared out and included a fire ring. Land is relatively flat which made tent camping easy! There is a bit of noise from nearby roadways, so if that bothers you bring earplugs for sleeping.
