PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING... 30 acres of mostly reclaimed farmland. We are located where Glade Creek flows into the Monocacy River. There is evidence of civil war activity here and the old river ford is on our property. Creek and river access make this a beautiful, peaceful place that is full of life. The energy here is overwhelmingly positive. Our house was built in the 1850s and the neighboring farm was built shortly after—lots of history on this property. You will be able to camp right next to Glade Creek which is always cool, clean, and refreshing. Our goal with opening the land up for camping is to eventually phase out commercial farming on the property and transform it into woodlands using native plants and trees. We've already started by planting hundreds of native tree species along the creek and river banks. Each camper gets us closer to that goal! Thanks for your support! Site was big and in great shape. The spot is absolutely gorgeous and private.

Site One - Stanley Tucci
Beautiful property, very spacious, and clean. Directions were easy to follow, clearly marked signs for each area. Sites are far from each other. We stayed at site 1, which had an odd couple of structures, and what looked like a place where junk kind of gets thrown. There was a paddle boat filled with stagnant, smelly water, which my dog promptly drank from. It was a really pretty and nice space. but expensive for what it is. After fees/taxes it was $58+, no running water, or toilet near by, seems expensive to just have someone sleep on your property without having to interact or do more than keep up the property. I would fully recommend this place if the price was half what it is. But it is still a beautiful property. And it was perfect for a last minute, instant check in. I'd recommend planning better and camping in the local parks.

Site North - Mr. Dennis
Mr Dennis site 6
Stayed at Mr Dennis site 6, each site seemed to be nicely tucked away and quite private, site 6 was the furthest out with a very short walk to the river. We got to met Jon as he was walking his dog when we arrived. Easy crossing the creek and a short drive across the field to the site, which was pretty basic as expected but clean and well maintained. As others mentioned you can hear traffic from route 15 but it wasn't a big deal. No shortage of fire wood with plenty dead wood to pick for the ground and nice big fire ring. Would be a place I would stay again for sure, great for closeness to Frederick.

Site Two - Budrow Wilson
We tent camped. It was a great site next to the creek. Very private. Loved crossing the creek to get to the site.
