Campsites are situated in the wooded area on our property land that integrates into hundreds of acres of conservation land with hiking trails that are also great for XC skiing, kettle ponds, and wetlands. The property is surrounded on 3 sides by conservation land with trails, 45 minutes - 1 hour from Boston and 10 minute drive to groceries, stores and restaurants. The house is right off a country road with our property and conservation land both across the street and behind our house. The area is in the heart of New England and is beautiful at all times of year. Minutes from Rte 495 and 2, we are along a popular bike route, 10 minutes from Carlson Orchards and the bistro/cafe Harvard General Store.Conveniently located along a popular road biking route, near the intersection of Rte 2 and 495. Pitch a tent or rent ours for an additional fee in the edge of the pine and hardwood forest. The site is flattened out, has a fire pit, trash can, and five gallon jug of potable water, Guests are welcome to use our house toilet or nature. Park your car next to our house and walk in to your site. The site snugly fits an 156” W and 108” L tent. Your site faces up into the woods, with a private trail that leads to conservation trails just a few feet away from where you will stay. We are near the sportsman club so you can hear the firing range in the distance, there is no way a guest could stumble across this but there is the possibility of noise. This location is ideal for a getaway from Boston, situated on the far corner of our property and the edge of miles of conservation land with trails. Colonial ruins, rock walls, vernal pools, wetlandsand kettle ponds.

Secret hideaway close to Boston!
This was my first use of hipcamp and my 4 year old son’s first campout . It rained the whole time but we had a blast. The campsite is nestled up in some woods at the back of Kaedra’s property, on the edge of a nature preserve. So although it’s extremely easy access from Boston, it’s also quiet and woodsy. The campsite itself is well organized, with a fire pit, elevated tenting area, and full 5 gallon water dispenser. It’s encircled by trees making it easy to string up a tarp as we needed. Kaedra was very friendly, helpful & kind over text message, offering us various forms of help in case we needed it given the weather and my son’s age. All in all, strongly recommended!

Beautiful area lots of wood to collect and burn. Good canopy if it rains helps stop some of the rain. Easy to get up to not a far walk to site.

Incredibly kind amd helpful host. You are setting up your tent within site of her home but still have a fair amount of privacy. The setting was very beautiful. You are close to a pond beach (10 min drive) and mini golf (10 min). We felt sufficiently out of the city without the long drive. It was also very nice to be able to use a flush toilet.

Best single tent campin near Boston
First HipCamp stay. Was last minute, and boy was I happy to find this gem of a place to stay at while in Boston area for a few days. The family was the friendliest of hosts, and easy to text/communicate with as well through the app. The single tent camping site was perfect for my needs. Arrived in the dark, and the site already had a string of solar charged lights on, which helped me see when setting up the tent. A jug of water with a spout was nice to see, and the campfire area had 2 great little wooden chairs as well. If I could rate it a 12/10 I would.
