Dalton Traders Grand Cabin
Beautiful cabin, extensive private trails through his property, nice and quiet! Cabin has everything you need for a "home away from home" vibe. Bathroom and shower is extremely well kept and the private firepit was amazing! HIGHLY recommend Ed, he was a great host!

Off-grid done right!
Ed’s cabin was adorable, clean and accommodating with lots of thoughtful touches. The setting is absolutely beautiful, smelled of fresh pine, felt secluded, & private yet is conveniently close to town. The new outdoor shower looked quite nice though we did not use it. We really enjoyed our first overnight off-grid stay. I would definitely recommend it!

This host has thought of everything
I can’t say enough good things about my experience at the Dalton Traders Grand Cabin. The most impressive was the high level of cleanliness. The cabin was spotless, smelled great, and was as bug free as you can get in the great outdoors. Tip: keep all your food in air tight containers and it should stay bug free your entire holiday.
The hosts of this stay have really thought of everything. A convenient outdoor shower, a fully stocked and wheelchair accessible port-a-let which was also impressively clean. A functional and clean grate for cooking over the open fire pit, plenty of seating, and more wood and kindling than you could possibly use!
Another nice surprise was that everything featured on the website was actually there and in perfect working order. My host even took the liberty of prepping the kindling in the wood fireplace for me so I only needed to light a match and have an instant roaring fire.
The cot provided is extremely comfortable and the cabin in general is far more roomy than the photos can show.
I stayed in the cabin alone and enjoyed the utter quiet (no other renters were tent camping that weekend) and I felt completely safe and comfortable.
The host was sure to great me upon my arrival and offered me a map of the area along with suggestions for good bike trails. There are plenty of trails surrounding the cabin as well which are a nice way to stretch the legs in the morning or go for a cool evening walk.
I would highly recommend the Grand Cabin!

The cabin was so nice and very cozy. The walking trails were so fun for our dogs and everything we needed was accessible to us. The property is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful!

Perfect Weekend
This was the perfect getaway for us city folk! Cooking over a campfire, walking in nature, enjoying the sound of silence, and reconnecting as a couple. Ed showed us around the place when we arrived and was so kind! Thank you so much for welcoming us into your retreat, it means the world to me to be back out in nature.

Dalton Traders Grand Cabin
Our stay at the grand cabin was absolutelly wonderful. So cozy and peaceful! Ed was a wonderful host who showed us back to the cabin. The cabin has its own seperate fire that is right outside so you are very secluded which is important to us. The wood stove kept the cabin plenty warm and there was lots of wood and kindling provided. The port a potty was a short walk from the cabin and was very clean and even had a mirror! There was plenty of nice touches at the cabin like an included propane stove so I could warm my water for coffee in the AM. If we had wanted to cook there was a grate to go over the fire and a charcoal/wood camping stove provided. If you are thinking about staying at this hidden gem I couldn't reccomend it enough!!!
