The campsite had plenty of firewood & kindling and was clean and ready to go when I arrived. It's a great location and is an awesome launch point for up north. I would definitely come back.

Yard games galore! 🏕️
A complete, well-maintained, and family friendly campsite just 20 mins away from Petoskey! The campground has everything you need for all day backyard/camping fun and relaxation. Phil is a kind host, and puts a lot of thought in everything here.
Phil accommodates all campers! I’m a van camper, and there was also an RV and a tent camper while I was there. It’s not crowded, there’s plenty of space to spread out! The price is super reasonable to have electric, water, a picnic table with umbrella, heated outdoor shower, a bougie porta potty, a dump station, access to shared lawn games with instructions, abundance of firewood and starts, and tons of ground to explore! I quickly made myself at home and ended up extending to stay longer. :)
This Hipcamp feels so expansive yet quaint! Out in the beautiful countryside of northern Michigan. Check out their yard game store on Etsy - “playyardgames”! I’ll definitely be a returning camper! 🏕️

Camping on Phil’s land was great! There was grill cover for the fire, food recommendations, and other little details that really made this campsite stick out

Rustic, but quiet and comfortable
This was a quiet, well-kept, clean camp ground with many thoughtful touches. Outdoor shower worked well; portapotty and outdoor sink were clean and functional.
