Camping at Angela's farm offers a mix of beautiful nature and convenient amenities, making it an appealing spot for a getaway. The location is excellent for exploring Sleeping Bear Dunes, nearby towns, and local attractions. Campers appreciate the clean facilities and the warm hospitality of the host, Angela, who is noted for her helpfulness and local knowledge. While most enjoy the serene environment and the presence of farm animals like chickens, some mention the early morning crowing of the rooster as a minor downside.

Beautiful property in a beautiful area. Communication with Angela was easy and helpful. Everything was as described. Had a great time during our stay. Even got to see the Northern Lights on one of the nights. Would stay again, good spot to visit all of the surrounding towns, beaches, hikes and other things to do.

Clear Night Sky

The space had a nice, almost level area. It was close to the porta potty which was in good clean order. Angela was very sweet and even washed a small load of laundry for us after our puppy got sick. She was helpful in knowledge of the area, which is close to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Suttons Bay and Traverse City.

Loved being the only site in a beautiful pine forest. Helpful host family! This was a site that allowed us to be close to many places we wanted to visit during our trip to the national park area. Port-a-potty was awesome to have and clean with a sink, nice soap, paper towels, and disinfecting wipes! The only downside was an early rising crowing rooster on this working farm along with an up charge for more than 4 in your party if they are over 12. The only farm animals we saw were a hen and rooster that stayed next to us during most daylight hours. They might have been well-fed before our arrival by others guests since they liked to hang around the campsite when we were there and be near us. Since we have chickens ourselves, this didn’t bother us as much as the crowing rooster that we started planning our sleep schedule around. We’d stay here again if the rooster wasn’t let out until like after 7am!

Perfect camp spot near Glen Arbor
19 ft campervan · With pets
Beautiful property close to Glen Arbor and the beach. Very quiet and serene. Angela was really friendly and welcoming. Bathroom was VERY clean and nice. Electric and fresh water was at the site. Our two dogs loved all the room. We will stay again next time we visit.

Second time around!
21 ft travel trailer
We loved the first time so much that when we had an opportunity to spend some time with our kid and his family, we went back two weeks later! We just love the location and the host are just amazingly wonderful and helpful people. And I think the chickens loved that we were back! Whenever we need to be in this area or want to be in this area in the future this is where we will stay!

Women’s camping trip
16 ft campervan
Women’s trip north, had a wonderful time. We all loved camping behind Angela’s barn. Cute chickens and tiny chicks kept us company. Perfect amount of sun or shade, trees to hang a hammock, and nice dry firewood for our campfire. Great local restaurant suggestions, too. Will definitely return!
