Nice and private
I really had a good time. This was our first time camping, and it did not disappoint!!!
I love the fact that Luke and Kiwi came to visit. Stephen even brought Luke to us when we asked about him. I'm looking to come back real soon.

This is the 2nd summer my husband and I have camped here and it will continue to be a summer staple for us. The serenity of a wooded area with a fire pit perfect enough for smores and a cool breeze night. The lightning bugs were bright and shining, and the night sky was clear and beautiful! Highly recommend for a quick overnight to get away or even a week of adventure!

I spent 2 nights in the woods campsite. It was great. The woods sites are very shaded. I did get to see a couple of bald eagles in the field across the street. I will definitely camp there again. My dog loved it too!

Open Areas
Country camping at its best!
Beautiful open area to camp at. Looked out upon a field and also country side. Nice visit by campground dogs Luke and Kiwi. Plenty of room to spread out and have privacy at the same time. Would highly recommend this site for big rig. Had a little difficulty maneuvering our 35 ft fifth wheel around some of the smaller trees but we eventually found a way to drive straight in by not following pathway and it worked beautifully. I would say the picnic table needs replacing and the campfire ring was in desperate need of redoing. We could not use because we were afraid of fire catching grass on fire. There is a bathhouse and other campsites but not close enough to interfere with privacy. We loved to walk around the property with our 3 dogs and saw lots of local wildlife too. It is located near enough to towns for necessitates and I would love to return with our family to have a local spot with room for a gathering. Great campground!

Go for the dogs.
I loved my stay at campsite 4 in the woods. The best part was honestly the 2 dogs. They were incredibly sweet and great company by the fire at night. If you bring a ball, they love to fetch in the open areas.
I loved that there was potable water and electric so near my site and the bathrooms and showers were a short walk. The facilities were actual flushing toilets and a large shower which was a great amenity. They did need more routine cleaning and restocking but I always clean campground toilets before using them anyways.
I definitely recommend mosquito repellant as well as spider repellant if they bother you.
The dogs really were the best part. I was camping alone so it was nice to have a buddy on the trails.
I will definitely stay here again.
