Beautiful hilly 10 acre equine facilitated learning horse stable. Camp near many trees and a pond teaming with wildlife. See many different types of birds, deer, hear the bull frogs sing at night, and watch a lightning bug show after dusk. The most beautiful sunrises and sunsets you will ever see this close to the city! Don't fall asleep before the stars come out! You will be up all night counting them! Access to fire pit and propane grill. Let us know if your bringing the kiddos we will set out fun games for the whole family. If you are interested in signing up for a Equine Facilitated Learning session, where you can experience the healing benefits of horses, check out our website and book an individual or family session during your camping stay! www.visitmagnoliastables.comPitch your tent where you see fit on a 10 acre Equine Facilitated Learning horse ranch! Option to camp with views of horses in pasture or pond and woods teaming with wildlife! More private areas near pond and on West side of the horse stable. See the most BEAUTIFUL sunrises and sunsets this close to the city! 30 minutes from recreation parks; Brighton, Kensington, Pinckney, and more with hiking trails and lakes! 10-15 minutes from downtown Howell with restaurants, shops, and more. BIPOC and LGBTQ+ friendly property! Country setting, yet, so close to the cities. See a lightning bug show and star gaze all night while listening to the bull frogs sing you to sleep. Expect to meet the host when you first arrive and sign a liability waiver to be near horses and hear about the safety rules of the property. From there explore the 10 acre ranch to pick your perfect camping site! After setting up camp, take a friendly nature walk around the property, wave hi to the herd, bird watch, build a camp fire in the pit and make s'mores, play giant connect 4, sack races, and other games! Property is hilly, though we can make accommodations for a wheelchair accessible sight. ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES (not included through HipCamp booking) Want to experience the healing power of horses? Sign up for an individual or family Equine Facilitated Learning session, Onward, with the HERD certified host. We also have a hands on horse learning program, Horses 101, and a reading program, The Reading Corner, where youth can read to horses in a judgement free space! (All programs additional cost, must sign up through website- Google search Magnolia Stables & book for the same day you'll be camping). We do not offer horseback riding at this time. *We strongly encourage a minimum age of 5 years old but babies in arms are just fine. We say this because of access to horses, electric fence, and deep pond, as well as road on two corners of the property. Safety is our name, healing with horses is our game! Can't wait to have you experience this judgement free, non-intimidating nature, camping space!
