Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

Dirt roads, great community for ORV with plenty of country around. Very remote can not see any houses from the property. Plenty of wildlife, deer and turkey, and a great swimming hole or fishing pond.The area is mostly open land with a small town down the road. In the town the oldest restaurant in Michigan is located, The White Horse Inn. There is a general store close as well that serves nice meals as well as an adorable atmosphere. Down the road there is a horse camp where you can rent and ride for a day.

Love camping in the back of my truck on Kym & Shawn's property. Price reflective of maintenance, well worth it, easy to navigate. Metamora being so close was an added bonus.

Cool and secluded. Bugs were not bad enough to need spray. Hiking around is rewarding, even though the body of water nearby is artificial, the view is beautiful. The drive in wasn't too bad, and can be done in a sedan honestly.

Back Country Getaway!

Awesome property! Heavily wooded 10 acres with trails, very secluded. The stars were stunning. The small town nearby is very convenient and adorable. Also the hosts Kym and Shawn and great people, very responsive and accommodating. Thanks again!

Back Country Getaway

Howdy, Honestly the whole experience was disappointing. Before I pulled in, the host messaged me saying there was another camper there for the weekend but it simply looked like there was a permit trailer setup in the only place you could turn around. If they did have another guest, there would have been no way for me to leave because the whole of the “6 party” camping area was just a two track road that I had to go in reverse the whole way to leave. it said camp fires allowed but there wasn’t a pit or anywhere cleared that would be deemed even semi safe. Of course the trees and the trees and the land is beautiful but absolutely no effort on the part of the owners to accommodate campers paying almost $40 with the fees. it felt degrading. Maybe if this was advertised as a safe parking space for $10 would have known to expect this and would have to write a lame review
