The glamping tent is located in an existing campground at the Pine River Paddlesports Center. The campground itself is on 26 acres - the sites are all hedged around on 3 sites with woods and are generously spaced out from one another. It is a clean and quiet campground - you shouldn't be able to hear your neighbors, and they shouldn't be able to hear you. The tent does have electricity - there is one power strip that is enough to power a fan (provided in the tent!), and to charge phones. There is a queen-sized bed, but please bring your own bedding. Inside the tent is also a 'coffee nook' - complete with a one-burner propane stove, tea kettle, pour-over coffee system, and water pitcher. Potable water is available at the tent site (there is a water spigot outside). Outside of the tent there is a fire pit with an adjustable grate for cooking, a picnic table, and a locking trash can that we change daily for you. Our bathroom building is a short walk from the glamping tent. It is a modern restroom with a men's and a women's side, complete with hot, running water, flush toilets, and coin-operated showers. We are located in the Manistee National Forest. Our campground borders the National Forest. On site, there is a beautiful 1/4 mile deer trail walk through the National Forest that leads to a great overlook of the Pine River. Also on site is a frisbee golf course that is free to campers. Also located on site is the Paddlesports Center where we rent canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and rafts for paddling the Pine River. The canvas tent is located in it's own campsite where parking is available. It comes with a fire pit w/ an adjustable grate for cooking, a locking garbage can that we change daily for you, and a picnic table. On the inside of the tent, we furnish a queen-sized bed with two nightstands. You do have to bring your own bedding. Also, there is a table and chairs inside of the tent in case it is raining or the bugs are bad. We have an extension cord ran to the tent that can charge your devices at night. We also supply a fan. The bathroom building is a short walk down from the canvas tent - about 65 yards. We are a great, central location for exploring the Manistee National Forest and surrounding areas. The North Country Trail and Manistee River Trail are less than 15 minutes away and are great hiking spots. Also, two of Michigan's premiere paddling rivers - the Pine River and Big Manistee River - are both located nearby.

Amazing Service, Beautiful Stay!
Alaney, Jacob, and the whole crew were all so kind, helpful, and accommodating throughout our whole stay. The campground was quiet and peaceful minus the giant storm that blew through, but even though Mother Nature brought severe thunderstorms and crazy winds the canvas tent stayed dry and it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Jacob was friendly, helpful, and informative when we went rafting down the river. Alaney was always quick to reply to any messages or needs we had. Overall we appreciated everyone there and would love to come back thanks to the great service and amazing environment at PRPC! The view of the stars at night there is really unparalleled, we could have stared up at them forever.

Campsites are positioned around a wooded loop with plenty of natural privacy. Campsites with cabins or glamping tents were welcoming with flower beds, picnic tables, and fire pit; some provided Adirondack chairs. The campground was quiet all around clean. Kayaking rental was flexible with various difficulty options and instructions were offered. Overall, a very positive experience for a couples glamping getaway.

Hubby and I loved our weekend getaway here! We stayed in the canvas tent and it was absolutely perfect..we were so sad to leave. The owner’s were so nice and accommodating and truly made you feel so welcomed. Husband and I compared it to a camping resort. Everything was top notch clean. We were able to get in to go kayaking no problem and everyone was so helpful and friendly. Very quiet and private camping experience and definitely would like to visit again in future!
