Many years ago, the property was a working orchard. While exploring, you may stumble upon one of the remaining fruit trees. Learn more about this land: Private wooded campsite on the property. A picnic table, fire ring, solar lights, charcoal grill, and a screened tent are available. Waubascon Lake (with a public boat launch, great for fishing or paddling) and Bedford Golf Course are less than a mile down the road. Your stay includes a private 18-hole disc golf course on the property. There are also tons of other disc golf courses in the area. There is a great open area near the campsite for fantastic star-gazing. The camp has no water or electricity, but filtered water is available behind the garage. A bucket toilet is available at the site (*an outhouse is under construction and will be available this season). Driving back to the site is okay with small/mid-size vehicles. Bedford Market and Dollar General are 1/2 mile away for food/drinks/supplies. *** Firewood is included with the rental. Sugar Shack Private Disc Golf

11 out of 5. Would recommend.

Beth and Brennan were amazing hosts. We pulled in to a welcome sign and arrows back to the campground, driving past some of the discing course on the way. The course starts out by the garden/entrance to the woods, never going too far away from the camspite to run back and grab a drink or a snack, and the turn to 10 is right by the site - perfect for a mid round break on a hot day. The course is pretty challenging, but definitely worth the struggle. It's pretty narrow on most of the fairways, but still doable for a moderate player. The campsite itself was wonderful, with a few chairs, a fire pit with a giant stack of split wood to burn, a screened in tent, and a new outhouse with a handwashing sink, all lit with a mix of solar/battery lights scattered around. As if all that wasn't enough, we also found a variety of grilling odds and ends to use with the charcoal grill on-site, and the most adorable fishing pole hot dog roaster I've ever seen. Smores and popcorn supplies were also provided, as well as hand sanitizer and bug spray. These guys go all out. Bring your friends. Bring your family. Tell everyone you know who likes to disc and camp - I'm certainly going to.

Camping and disc golf!! Amazing 👏

We loved everything about The Sugar Shack. The amenities were top notch. The site is perfect, well lit at night and shaded during the day. My gf and I loved having an outhouse with soap and water. The DG course is awesome too, technical and well taken care of. I'll definitely be planning a trip back. Thanks for everything!

Sugar Shack Private Disc Golf

Fantastic campsite with disc golf!

Beth's site was perfect for our disc golf camping group. The campsite was fantastic and well equipped with screened canopy, picnic table, smore fixings, plenty of firewood, and a very nice outhouse. If you are looking for a campsite with disc golf, you won't find anything much better. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a nice, well-maintained campsite but if you are also a disc golfer, this is your spot. Thank Beth!

Sugar Shack Private Disc Golf

Very nice site

The site is great! Lots of places to put a tent down, and they thought of everything. Lots of helpful things around site if you forget a thing or two, and there's some lighting on site to aid in illumination. Brand new outhouse was very nice to use, and even had a foot pump hand sink. You feel very secluded back on the site. The disc course is heavily wooded, which adds to the difficulty a bit with tight fairways, but was really nice for shade. It kept us relatively comfortable while throwing even though the temps were well over 80 with no cloud cover. Great course for practicing control. I liked throwing mostly midrange discs to prioritize control over distance. The course is well groomed, but you'll want to take care to stay on fairways as the OB can be a bit thick to wade through. Start on hole 10 and you'll start and end at the campsite.
