With some of the oldest vines in Minnesota, (1994) Wild Mountain Winery has been in operation since 2010 as a premier winery. Nestled on the second highest point in Chisago County, we offer picturesque views and quiet, natural setting. With both food, beer, cider and wine to sample, you will find something that makes you smile. Learn more about this land: Pitch your tent in the setting you choose; in the vines of our 6 acres of vineyard, or in the woods next to the winery. Enjoy all the amenities of the winery with a short walk to your cot, hammock or sleeping bag. No "drive-in" sites available, but we provide pull carts or courtesy shuttle upon request. Close to Wild Mountain Ski & Water park. Each site offers a fire ring. On site bathrooms and potable water. Camp any day of the week. Check in- Friday 2:00, or by special request Sat/Sun 12:00 Weekdays 12:00 Check out- 11:00Pitch your tent in the setting you choose; in the vines of our 6 acres of vineyard, or in the woods next to the winery. It was a great little spot, felt secluded but really accessible to the bathrooms, water and bottle shop. We really enjoyed our stay!

Wild Vines Campground

Great place to enjoy some wood fired pizza, live music, and wine. The campground was quiet at night and the frogs were singing. Bathrooms were clean and easy to access.

Excellent Family Gathering

So fun! We stayed in the wooded sites with 4 other families, and it was so fun. Easy to cart in with the trollies. Nice clean bathrooms. Showers. Beautiful wooded sites. Kids explored and played board games in the tasting room. Adults enjoyed the music and tasting wine. Great location and friendly staff. Easy to relax and enjoy. Oh yeah, and they delivered wood to our site!

Birthday Camping Trip

Loved the camp grounds in the vineyard. Easy to set up camp with the carts provided. Woodfire pizza on Saturday was delicious. Super nice to have coffee in the morning as well! Will definitely come back. Thank you!

Wild Vines Campground

Overall we had a good experience! Staff was all very friendly, and the wine & beer was great. We did have to sign a lengthy contract up front, and once clause was that no outside alcohol was allowed. We don’t have an issue with the clause itself, but we wish we would have known that beforehand. We also wish we would have known beforehand that we couldn’t bring our own firewood, and instead had to purchase it on site.

The land was very beautiful and our campsite was nice and private and tucked into the woods. The wine at the winery was very very tasty! I loved every one of the reds.
