We offer 1 mile, 4 mile, 8 mile kayak and canoe trips. Gather Eggs from the property, except for the henhouse, for free from our free range chickens. No telling where they will be laying. Happy hunting. Hope you find a big bunch of eggs. You help us by keeping the eggs that are not in the henhouse picked up. Thankyou. Free firewood. Please cut up and burn as much dead wood, leaves as you want. Spare the live trees. You are paying for camping on our land. We provide a water hose and a 10 AMP 120 volt extension cord. Mornings: Breathe in the fresh air as you sip coffee on the porch, serenaded by birdsong and the distant baaah... of sheep. Days: Rent a kayak or canoe and explore the reservoir and creek that weave near the property, spotting turtles basking on logs and herons taking flight. Afternoons: Hike through the nature trail at Flint Creek or Desoto National Forest bursting with wildflowers, or curl up with a good book string a hammock strung between ancient oaks. Evenings: Gather 'round the crackling fire pit, roast marshmallows under a canopy of stars, and trade stories with fellow adventurers (or maybe just a barn cat, who might grace you with their presence). Night: Book a night hike with the host and explore the world deep in the forest on or off trail at night. Learn to navigate in the dark as your host leads you deeper and deeper into the mysterious dark forest.Gather Eggs from the property, except for the henhouse, for free from our free range chickens. We also offer kayak and canoe trips at Flint Creek Reservoir. Super Fast Wi-Fi covers the property for enjoyable streaming of your favorite shows or to enjoy working remote outdoors. We provide a shared water hose, picnic tables and a 10 AMP 120 volt extension cord. There is a toilet, refrigerator and shower inside for you to use. Please no loitering inside.

Be open. Relax.
Andrew and his wife are welcoming and kind. I found Andrew (the main contact) to be quite thoughtful. I was a single female traveling alone and felt safe there on the land and in Andrew's presence. Everything I needed was there and Andrew went out of his way to make sure this was so. I initially was only going to stay for one night but ended up staying for three. If I'm ever that way again, I'll make a point to stay again. Thank you Andrew and family for your hospitality.

Rustic camping with sheep and geese
This site was pretty private, as there is only really the one campsite. The location worked out perfectly for us. Very rustic, but with a nice campfire pit. We were able to plug in out car fridge into an extension cord. Sheep, with several lambs, and geese were entertaining. The site has WiFi available, which was nice. Otherwise it was was pretty no-frills, especially in the free toilet department. There is a outdoor toilet, but it's without any shelter, but out of eyesight. You can pay extra for use of the owner's house bathroom and laundry facilities, but we didn't have time for that anyway.

Camping with Animals!
Andrew is a wonderful host and was so accommodating of all our needs. He created a larger fire pit for our group, added a nice picnic table and made our stay as comfortable as possible. His land is fun to stay on with all the animals to interact with and enjoy. We felt safe and well looked after unlike a corporate camp ground where you can’t always get what you need or find anyone to ask. Andrew is more than willing to work with you and make your camping experience the best it can be. We were close to Flint Creek and DeSoto National Forest for some fun outdoor activities. Firewood is plentiful and easy to gather with a chainsaw so we never ran out. I Highly recommend choosing his land as your next camping spot. You won’t regret your decision and the geese will love having you there! As well as Andrew of course.
