No fishing license required. Borders Big Black civil war battlefield. Pets are always welcome. Jon boats with motors, Kayaks and ATV's always ok. Large stretches of sand bars when water permits. Not far from I-20. Great cell reception. Good restaurant down the road in Bovina. Loves truck stop just down the road.Camping is available at campers choice of ground. 4 acres on Big Black river. All old growth shaded area with fantastic fishing and large stretches of sand bar when river levels permit which is most of the year. ATVs welcome. Off leash pet friendly. Power and water hookups available at 6 locations.

Leatherneck

Rah!

I think camp leatherneck was a great spot. Lots of room, power, water, some tables and shelters prebuilt. My group and I really enjoyed the spot. Definitely will be back!
