A quiet, country campground with over 12 miles of well-marked trails through old growth hardwood timber. We offer shady campsites and fishing in two private lakes stocked with bass and bluegill. Lakes are for campers only! Campers can pick blueberries when they are in season (June-July)--limit 2 pints per site per day. Wildlife is abundant. You will hear owls and coyotes at night. Often bald eagles can be spotted at both lakes. Other wildlife you may see: deer, wild turkey, raccoons, opossums, fox, bobcat, coyote, rabbits, armadillo, otter, and squirrels. Please do not approach the wild animals! There is a pretty creek for those who like to creek walk. Petrified wood can be picked up in the creek bed. We are only 30 minutes from the University of Mississippi campus for people coming for ballgame weekends. We are only about 20 minutes from Grenada and Enid Reservoirs. These have some of the finest crappie fishing in the United States. We are located 2 miles east of the Trans America Trail.

Site #10: Farmview

Great.

I was so lucky and happy to have picked this place. There’s 600 acres with 2 ponds, two rowboats, fish and trails all through the woods to explore. The campground is new and sits up on a hill. The owner selectively took out only the trees required and left the rest for shade and some privacy. The bathroom/showers are being built as I write this review. The owners were helpful, friendly, fun and down to earth. They are on the property, but way away from you. Plus, if you need anything, just ask. They will be more than willing to help you out. There is no playground in the sense of what you might be thinking, but there is a 600 acre one for you and your kids to enjoy. There’s a lot to do here.

Amazing spot. Very accommodating and great conversation. Flat pad, hookups, great view of the stars. If you're in Oxford and looking for a place, you cant go wrong here.

West side tent Site #15

10/10 definitely staying here again

The site is right on the lake which made for a beautiful view at sunset and sunrise. It’s a ways away from the main property and other sites so it’s very secluded. Lynn and Anita were excellent hosts – loading us up with firewood, telling us where the good trails are, and even leaving us an ATV to ride around. They were attentive to our needs while maintaining our privacy. Can’t wait to come back!

A perfect getaway

I can't say enough great things about staying at this camp! Anita and Lynn really go out of their way to ensure you have the BEST time. Such down to earth people, you'd think you're camping with members of your own family. We celebrated a birthday here with a large group of friends and dirtbikes and Anita surprised everyone with a birthday cake (how nice!!!) The pads were nice and level, plenty of shade, and the community fire pit was a nice touch!! I'm excited to come back not only because the campground was nice, but to visit with our new friends Lynn and Anita! 10/10

West side tent Site #15

I will definitely be returning.

Perfect stay for primitive tent camping on a beautiful lake deep in the wooded property. Fishing is great, property is well maintained, trails are clear and marked for easy navigation. Camp site is very private, abundance of wildlife. The host is very accommodating, friendly and excited to share this wonderful property and the experience that it provides. I will definitely be returning with plans for a longer stay. For those with RVs, they have new sites with hook up, near the front of the property on top of the hill where the multiple trails start.
