Pitch a tent or park a camper or small RV on our nonprofit farm. We have 5 acres of pasture/garden and 15 acres of woods in the River Bluffs of NW Missouri. Find a place in a meadow to star gaze and watch the moon, or hike into the woods for a secluded camping experience. Beautiful rolling hills, wildlife, wild flowers, peace and quiet are just a few of the perks in this rare location next to the Bluffwoods Conservation Area. Be prepared to get your hands dirty with this listing. All campers have the opportunity to volunteer one hour per day while staying at Beacon Farm. We are a nonprofit Christian ministry planting God's love one seed at a time. Donating organic produce to those in need here in Saint Joseph. Your hour of volunteer time each day could consist of harvesting veggies, weeding, stacking wood, milking goats, or any number of other things, depending on the time of year you are here. Part shade camper/tent site 1

Just what I needed

Perfect spot. The hosts were very friendly and kind, and worked hard to make sure I had a good experience. I would definitely return here next time I need to get away for a weekend. As mentioned on their listings, campsites 1 and 2 are fairly close to each other. The other sites are more secluded. However, I still feel I had plenty of personal space, even though there was a large group at site 2. Google Maps took me past the farm’s entrance. Make sure to read the host’s posted directions, which will likely tell you to pull into the main entrance (look for the big sign by the road) and park near the house to check in prior to moving your vehicle down to your campsite.

Awesome camping.

My 2 sister's and I stayed the night in their camping area. It was absolutely amazing, Sarah was very friendly d informative the camp site was very well maintained and mowed. This will be a repeat camp site.

Great place, good people

Very nice, large, relaxing property. Lots of farm animals and some hiking trails. Owners are very nice and welcoming. A great spot to relax and stargaze. We will definitely be back!

Exceptionally kind hosts! I enjoyed sharing stories, getting to know them, play with the dogs, and help out (in the capacity that I could)! Campsite was lovely with beautiful stars. Very lovely folks on a mission for the Lord.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time camping on their property! Kevin and Cheri were friendly, gave of their time, and love Jesus. I came out to spend time in personal prayer. God met me in a strong way, and He freed me up much within! I'm very grateful for the time I had on their property!!
