All to yourself
100% of recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp felt private.
Secluded campsite all to yourself. Located off of Swamp Creek Loop Road on Fox Lane this 21 acre property offers amazing views of Twenty Peak Gulch and backs up to Green Mountain. Just three and a half miles to the North Shore boat launch on the Noxon Reservoir which boast some of the best sport fishing in Western Montana. Five miles from the town of Trout Creek. A quarter mile to Swamp Creek and one mile to the Swamp Creek Trail trailhead. Quite, peaceful and secluded, yet offers modern comforts such as water and power. This extra large camp clearing will accommodate almost any size rig, or multiple RV's if you have a group. The road to the site is seasonal so be aware that a 4x4 is recommended during the wet months. No hunting on the property, but plenty of Federal Forest Service land in the surrounding areas. A one of a kind place to camp if privacy and nature is your goal. There are no bathroom amenities here, guests will need to be self contained, take waste with them and leave no trace. 240volt/50amp & 120v/20 amp outlets (120volt/30amp RV's will require an adaptor) and a potable water hydrant on site. Spectacular views and even more amazing sunrises! A very unique campsite that is sure to please any nature enthusiast.

This is a wonderful spot away from everything. We saw deer and we're serenaded by coyote and ? Wolf ? In the distance. The view from the site is great. Nice water and power at site. Our dogs loved the chance to be off leash. We had a chat with the host who came up to check if we were happy and shared some local knowledge.

We really enjoyed this site. If you are looking for a forested area with complete privacy, this is the spot for you. The camp host Jeffrey was quick with responses whenever I had a question. I would definitely stay there again!

30 ft fifth wheel
One word: solitude! If you want to spend time in a place where you can feel like you’re the only person in the world, this is it. It’s perched on a hilltop with Mountain views and no road noise.

One Of A Kind!
30 ft fifth wheel
What a peaceful, secluded slice of paradise! We absolutely enjoyed our stay here while on our way east. Jeffrey is an amazing host! Directions were spot on. Getting there was super easy and no issues finding the place. A nice lady on a 4 wheeler dropped by and checked up on us to ensure we were satisfied and had everything we needed and made sure everything was working out for us. The spot is spacious and will accommodate a pretty large setup. We had a 30 foot fifth wheel with a 2500 gmc sierra long bed and had no issues to maneuver around and setup the way we want to. The site offers 50 amp electricity with water. If you are looking for a peaceful and quiet place to relax and unwind. This is the place to do just that! The views were spectacular with plenty of wildlife. We saw Deer, heard Coyotes and plenty of other wildlife. Leveling was easy. The drive up was also full of great views! We definitely are coming back in the future when we are passing through!
