Nestled on the shores of Ducklake this 2 acre parcel is an ideal location to kick back , enjoy and explore the eastern side of Glacier park. We are 20 mins from the park gates, 20 mins from Many Glacier and about 40 mins to Waterton park. The gradual sloping beach is perfect for all kinds of water sports and recreation. Many grassed areas or shady treed sites and the sites on the beach with breathtaking sunrises, sunsets and most amazing stars at night. Ducklake is well known for its trophy rainbow trout aswell. We have 2 kayaks, a canoe, little fishing boat with electric motor, an assortment of rods and lures, propane BBQ, and solo smokeless campfire pits. All for guest to enjoy and use on a first come first serve basis.Large beautiful area with flats, trees or beach sites. Amazing views of the rocky mountains and the lake. This area is known for an abundance of wildlife from deer moose elk, foxes to the grizzly's. Across the lake is a peninsula called Pelican point where during periods of the year will hosts hundreds of the enormous birds competing with the Eagles and ospreys. Were happy to comment that new for 2024 we added a gender neutral shower house along with a Keurig coffee machine. We added 3 solo smoke free portable fire pits and a full size propane bbq. all on a first come basis.

Lake Life Oasis with beautiful View

We absolutely loved staying at Glacier Getaway! Abby and Anna were very responsive, thoughtful with us, and had so many amenities for us to use that made our stay even more pleasurable! Kayaking the lake with the glass water in the am and looking out at the beautiful mountains was awesome. The shower room and coffee bar had heat that helped with those cold mornings. The views were spectacular that all my Facebook friends wanted the details. Thank you Anna and Abby!

Beautiful spot on Duck Lake. We stayed 3 nights while visiting Glacier NP. We had water and electric hook up and a nice shower house. We would definitely stay again. The road getting to the hipcamp is rough. Plan on less than 10 mph.

What an amazing place! Beautiful views of lake with mountains in the backdrop! Hosts were outstanding with being available to answer questions.. flexibility on our site location and hook ups. Bonus was the hot shower room! We just returned from a month of traveling to national parks and Abby by far stood out as best host! We will be back!!

Abby and Anna were exceptional hosts! They have a great spot to camp right near glacier national park. I would definitely recommend if you would like a spot outside of the park but very close to it. Would come back in a heart beat! THANK YOU!
