Are you looking to to explore North Fork Flathead River area by Polebridge? We have the spot for you! Large enough for camper vans, small campers or a tentsite. Located 8 miles north of Polebridge. Quiet, off grid spot with well water, flushing toilet, hot shower, covered outdoor bar/ kitchen area, picnic tables and fire pit.
Yard games, Darts, camp chairs, hammock chairs, firewood all available on site.
Starlink wifi available (password and details provided upon request when booked).
Things to do:
A short hike across the road will lead you to a spectacular overlook of the river and into Glacier Natl. Park. ( Morning coffee at sunrise is a favorite time to view).
The property is located on Whale Creek and there is a primitive trail down to the creek.
Raft, Kayak, SUP at nearby Put-in to North Fork Flathead River(Ford) 2 miles North. Ford to Polebridge take-out approx. 8 river miles. Great float with mild class 1-2 rapids in a few sections, fantastic fishing and great views of Glacier Natl. Park.
Fly fishing North Fork is spectacular, many spots along the river are accessible from North fork Rd. as you drive North
Polebridge Mercantile (in Polebridge) has fabulous pastries, bread, hot and cold sandwiches, beer, soda, water, ice, snacks, gifts, etc. Northern Lights Saloon and Eatery is next door with a full bar and great food menu, live music usually in the evenings.
Entry into Glacier National Park via Polebridge 8 miles south or the Camas rd. 20 miles south of Squirrel Camp (Please check with Glacier National Park for times and Permits).
Please respect our property and neighbors by keeping site clean as you found it and pack out your trash when leaving.
BE BEAR AWARE do not leave out food or bear attracts.
Be aware you are in bear country and always have bear spray or firearm especially when on hikes or adventures in the North Fork.The site can accommodate a van a small camper or tent site.(s) Guest are welcome to use the outdoor kitchen, bar area as well as the dart board and corn hole boards. There is a frost free in the yard for water and we offer a bathroom with shower, and flushing toilet. If you prefer we have an outhouse as well! Starlink is available. for $5.00 extra a day. Please note this is a residential area and to be mindful of the neighbors. There are no hook ups but water is available.
