Welcome to our campground! We are a "Roadside" Campground that offers the convince of easy on/off access to Hwy 90 and the close proximity to Bozeman. We are adjacent to Hwy 90 and the Montana Rail System. We have a variety of options that should suit just about anyone. We are near Yellowstone National Park as well as Bozeman, MT which offers all types of recreational opportunities e.g. hiking, fishing, climbing, skiing, cycling and running trails. VanGoBoon is the perfect "Pull-in for the Night" as well as week-long stays! Most of our sites are SELF-CONTAINED. We have 4 sites that have electric and water hookups. (20,30,50amp) The lawn area has horseshoes, frisbee golf, and corn toss. We mostly offer dry campsites for overnight stays for vans, tents or RVs . Most sites are on concrete slabs so they are level and the property has grass areas with trees as well. FYI: Great site if you like trains! An important part of Montana’s commerce is transportation by rail so there will be highway and train noise. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to have noise-cancelation devices handy. Private spots between trees but near freeway for easy access. Our 2 horses have been a favorite with young campers along with the open yet private campsites! We look forward to welcoming you!

Site 6 - VanGoBoon Bozeman- RV/Tent Sites
Daniel's property is well located, in a beautiful setting, and cleanly maintained. Didn't mind the occasional train noise. Would stay again.

Change of scenery
We were on a road trip from Glacier to Yellowstone and wanted a change of scenery from National Forests for a night. Not only was VanGoBoon a perfect spot for us only being 1.5 hours to the park entrance, the grounds were clean and organized. Daniels communication was terrific and made it so easy to have all questions answered (and in a timely manner). VanGoBoon is a great location to downtown Bozeman with easy on and off access or a frontage road (if you want to avoid freeways for a day). There is white noise from the freeway which I found to be relaxing and an occasional train but being from Truckee/Tahoe area the train didn’t even bother me. If I’m being honest I like taking in all that surrounds me while traveling and understanding the area I am in. Plus we are there to camp, noise or distraction come with that. We will definitely return to VanGoBoon.

Solo road trip.
Great spot, close to town but felt nice and secluded. Nice Mountain View’s from the property. The trains are loud but it didn’t bother me, I can sleep thru anything.

My boyfriend, 2 dogs, and I had a great experience! We were a bit nervous when we read other reviews regarding the noise of the train/highway as we are car campers, but it didn’t bother us at all. (although, we do sleep with a noise machine so that may have helped) Portapotty was clean too! Overall, our stay was very peaceful and we would return!

Pretty area. The horses added to the environment. Interstate noise was noticable but not too bad.
