Welcome to our campground! We are a "Roadside" Campground that offers the convince of easy on/off access to Hwy 90 and the close proximity to Bozeman. We are adjacent to Hwy 90 and the Montana Rail System. We have a variety of options that should suit just about anyone. We are near Yellowstone National Park as well as Bozeman, MT which offers all types of recreational opportunities e.g. hiking, fishing, climbing, skiing, cycling and running trails. VanGoBoon is the perfect "Pull-in for the Night" as well as week-long stays! Most of our sites are SELF-CONTAINED. We have 4 sites that have electric and water hookups. (20,30,50amp) The lawn area has horseshoes, frisbee golf, and corn toss. We mostly offer dry campsites for overnight stays for vans, tents or RVs . Most sites are on concrete slabs so they are level and the property has grass areas with trees as well. FYI: Great site if you like trains! An important part of Montana’s commerce is transportation by rail so there will be highway and train noise. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to have noise-cancelation devices handy. Private spots between trees but near freeway for easy access. Our 2 horses have been a favorite with young campers along with the open yet private campsites! We look forward to welcoming you!

Site 4e
Campground a little on the rustic side but well maintained. Trailer pads are narrow and not easy to get a trailer exactly on the pad. Shower was solar so coming in on a rainy, snowy, June day met no shower. Charging station needed a shelf and maybe a cover to get out of the rain.

Site 4e
Very lovely campground. Sites 4 and 5 are the only sites that have electric. I did not mind being next to the highway. I didn't really notice the noise. Yes, there are trains that run at night. I got use to that and it did not wake me up at night after 1-2 days. Close to bozman. Dan was very helpful with our booking. Really nice guy. Happy to have met him. Bathroom was always clean . The description on the website is very accurate. We enjoyed our stay!

VanGoBoon -Tent Camping Site-Tent B
Awesome spot close to Bozeman!
Awesome! Safe, beautiful, green with a porta-potty and little shower on site. Super close to downtown, less than 10 min drive. Gives you ultimate access to Bozeman and all its amenities! So easy you just show up and get settled. No checking in if you’ve already done it online. Sooo convenient. Only thing to note is that trains pass nearby the sites at night and honk loudly, so if you’re a light sleeper bring noise canceling headphones or something to block the sound. Overall would definitely recommend and love to come back!

Daniel's property is well located, in a beautiful setting, and cleanly maintained. Didn't mind the occasional train noise. Would stay again.

Site 7 - VanGoBoon Bozeman- RV/Tent Sites
I would go there again.
The good: grassy site, level concrete parking slabs, clean restroom, country setting. The bad: interstate highway noise, solar showers, no way to reserve site without using internet web page.

Change of scenery
We were on a road trip from Glacier to Yellowstone and wanted a change of scenery from National Forests for a night. Not only was VanGoBoon a perfect spot for us only being 1.5 hours to the park entrance, the grounds were clean and organized. Daniels communication was terrific and made it so easy to have all questions answered (and in a timely manner). VanGoBoon is a great location to downtown Bozeman with easy on and off access or a frontage road (if you want to avoid freeways for a day). There is white noise from the freeway which I found to be relaxing and an occasional train but being from Truckee/Tahoe area the train didn’t even bother me. If I’m being honest I like taking in all that surrounds me while traveling and understanding the area I am in. Plus we are there to camp, noise or distraction come with that. We will definitely return to VanGoBoon.
