Thumbs Up for Pavement Ends.
Had a very enjoyable and star filled night at Pavement Ends last night (Sept. 7). Everything was great and we found the location without any problem. Sorry for not communicating our arrival time yesterday. We had a very late start leaving Estes Park, Colorado. We pulled in to Pavement Ends around 5:15 PM last night. The night sky was beautiful and I was able to capture some nice images of the Milky Way.

Site 1 - Pavement Ends RV hook ups
Convenient to fossil beds
Quiet and private. Very close to the fossil beds. Perfect place to stay if visiting there.
Restroom is decent, no shower, dump station may require an extra length of hose unless you back into it.
Price was a little above what we have paid on average on our 6 month trip.

Site 8 - Pavement Ends Tent Campground
The campsite was very reasonably priced. There were 2 picnic tables for the entire area. All sites are sloping and there are no shade structures. The site has one restroom with running water (flush toilet and sink).

Quiet, dark and peaceful! It’s rustic, but all we needed. Great views and terrific rock formations behind and beside the site.

Perfect for Agate Fossil Visit
Perfect location if you’re visiting the Agate Fossil Beds National Monument! We arrived late at night and it was a breeze to find the spot and setup our RV.
