Havens Ranch is a 154 acres in the Humboldt river valley just 10 minutes outside of Winnemucca, NV. We have a small outdoor wedding venue, and only rent our spaces when we are not hosting an event. You are welcome to utilize the grounds and facilities, which include a beautifully landscaped lawn, historic buildings and modern plumed bathrooms. We also provide access to fresh well water and use of our large fire pits! **Please note that our bathrooms are not insulated and so we winterize the plumbing the in the colder months and will instead be providing a porta-john. There will still be potable running water available at the spigot. ** The river is a short walk away, and our longhorn cattle will most likely be grazing in the adjacent field. We have incredible sunsets and a variety of wildlife living on the property. This is a great space to get away from the city for a weekend, or camp for a night on your way through town. We have both a guest suite and several camping spaces available. It's a large property and we love to share it! If you are looking for outdoor activities, we are just minutes away from the Winnemucca Dunes OHV area (also great for hiking!), Water Canyon rec site, the Bloody Shins mountain biking trail system, and about an hour away from the Paradise Valley rock climbing area. We are 10 minutes from Winnemucca, about half way between Reno and Elko.

Desert Oasis Guest Suite
The tiny house was cozy and comfortable. It was in a quiet peaceful area. We especially appreciated the air conditioning after a hot day of travel which the host had turned on for us ahead of time. We enjoyed the longhorn cattle grazing nearby and the starry night sky. The host was on hand to greet and welcome us when we arrived which was a nice touch.

No what it says it is.
Everything. Make it look like a campground. better set up and directions, clean up the crack house on the road looks terrible and uninviting. Did not in anyway look like a working farm description on website makes it sounds certain way which it is not. Sat down at the bottom of hill by silver shack for almost an hour making reservations to go somewhere else, nobody, no Host, no help, so we left got a room and never stayed there. What a joke and waste of my money. Want to refund me?

Ready and Welcoming!
My small family of three needed a last minute place to stay on a long trip and Emily was ready to host! This beautiful ranch has a well maintained and beautiful bathroom which was great for a mom with a toddler! Even though we were in and out in a rush, it was a beautiful stop!

Disappointing
After arriving at the site, my family ultimately decided to leave before staying the night. We have young children, and ranch equipment was littered around the area that the hosts designated for camping. There were containers of gasoline and oil strewn about, and all sorts of machinery abandoned in the area in which we were supposed to set up camp. There was a small, sandy play area but it was covered in thorny branches unsafe for tiny hands. The "grass" covering the site had not been mowed, was aggressively pokey and uncomfortable to walk through, and skewered holes all through the bottom of our tent. We were disappointed to have to find more suitable accommodations elsewhere, and to have our tent damaged. While we were packing up, another camper arrived, began to set up. After ten minutes, they stopped, looked around, and returned their things back to their car. They were scrolling through their phone looking for other places to stay when we left. Don't make the same mistakes we did!

Perfect road trip camp stop, easy to find & pull in & Emily sweetly accommodated my unplanned late night roll-in by leaving the bathroom light on for me, would definitely book again next time I come through the area
