Used to be called the New Hope Recovery Ranch. It is a usually quiet simple home and an oasis for the area. Help yourself to the power and water see photos. As for driving avoid Opal Ave. it is a washboard! Lake Lahontan is less than ten miles away for swimming, fishing, boating, nature watching, hiking, four wheeling.   Custom Gardens organic Farm is three miles away and with a call they will let you shop right there on the farm. Michaeila's spot was such a welcome experience after dry camping for 3 days in our travel trailer rental. With water and power, we were able to take nice, long hot showers (we were SO dusty!), use air conditioning, and cook without meticulously worrying about fuel conservation. Her directions were very clear and we found everything we needed without issue. It was so nice to be able to have our dogs off leash on the property while we were getting setting up and taking down our site. Would definitely recommend this site!

it's a modest home on piece of land that shows all the memories of owners who obviously loved the property. you feel like you are sharing family history. lots of wildlife and neighboring farm animals, quiet neighborhood. directions very clear, do not think anyone was present when I was there. it turned out to be a visit to time long ago, even the family small pet cemetery. I would return for more memories!

A relaxing spot near hwy 50,
We have a 25 foot Nation RV. We enjoyed the site. After driving all day through bay area traffic it felt great to be in a wide open space. I will go back.

Stone Ranch is great if you are traveling from California to Utah. Very easy access, beautiful sunsets and sunrises!
