Stargazer- Forest Retreat Wall Tent
Beautiful stay! We absolutely loved our time here! Host was so friendly and sweet! Host pup was a true highlight. We love you ruby!! Beautiful and private. Bathrooms were amazing! Probably the best outhouse I have ever been to in years of traveling the country! I cannot say enough about it. We cannot wait to come back! Gorgeous house, so many ferns, birds, and toads! ❤️

i had an amazing time with my friends!! it rained while we were visiting but we still managed to have a fire going and enjoy the woods. i would definitely come back again 🤍

Stargazer- Forest Retreat Wall Tent
Peaceful, rustic retreat!
We took our family here for a camping test run. Overall, it was WONDERFUL!
Lori was very responsive to all my questions. We brought our 2 kids and dog and I wanted to make sure there was room in the tent for everyone to sleep (there was!).
The site was really tucked back into the forest and really quiet and peaceful which I loved. Not having to worry about setting up the tent was awesome and took a lot of stress out of arrival. That being said, we still brought a lot of stuff! This was our first time camping with our kids (ages 3 and 6) and we wanted to make sure we had everything we needed to make it a smooth experience.
The property, tent, campsite and outhouse were all very clean and beautiful. I loved how there were 3 sites but they were all very private. The other sites were also booked but we barely saw the other ppl.
One downside to camping in May: the bugs were terrible! So many black flies. We covered ourselves in bug spray but it didn’t help a ton. Sitting by the campfire helped.
Another challenge: schlepping our stuff from the car to the campsite. It wasn’t clear to me that we’d have to park and walk a bit. I wish we brought less stuff as transporting it through the woods was not easy! I appreciated the wagons Lori had waiting for us though. Lori was awesome and even came by to say hello the morning of our stay. She also very kindly left some toys and books in the tent!
I wished we could have stayed another night and would like to come back w/ friends!
