Sweet Song Acres is 100+ acres of secluded forest nestled along the Little Sugar River, at the base of Perry Mountain. Located in rural Unity, NH and Charlestown, NH, just across the Vermont state line. Southernmost point, located in Charlestown is one of two campsites. The other is Shady Grove, located in Unity. The two sites, located in bordering towns share the same entrance and are connected by a 1/4 mile trail. Both are very large sites. Campers would drive to both sites down a trail so we highly recommend a vehicle with decent clearance and 4WD or AWD. Southernmost Point is a fully drive-in site. Shady Grove campers park above the site and the campsite is down a short path, just a few hundred feet or so. The property consists of varied terrain of rock ledges, lush moss, streams, and panoramic views at the summit. There are many options of local outdoor activities in the area or if you prefer, just sit and "listen to the river sing sweet songs to rock your soul".

Shady Grove

Site was as lovely as the posting and all the other reviews show. We had 5 adults, 6 kiddos (ranging from 20 mo to 9 year old) with 2 X 4-6 person tents and 4 X 1-2 person tents and had plenty of space. Chiefly and Tina were super responsive and accommodating with extra requests for firewood delivery and when to bring them (avoiding nap times!). Wood was dry and caught easily. Outhouse was the cleanest I’ve been in. Being able to jump into the river anytime was a highlight for the kids.

Shady Grove

Tina and Chiefy were great hosts! They hand delivered firewood to us and answered all of our questions. Their property is fantastic. The river was great and the mountain hike had a great view. Would highly recommend staying here

Nice getaway

Chiefly and Tina were great hosts! The site was clean and they were very responsive if we had any questions. It’s the perfect spot to run away. There is a road on the other side of the river. It’s truly not noticeable at all unless you are actively thinking about it. The river, as excepted, was our favorite part. It was loud, but noise cancelling which was exactly what we were looking for. We will 100% be going back!

Beautiful Stay

Beautiful place to stay listening to the river flow all day long is the best kind of sound i love. Area was so neat and clean the outhouse was really clean as well they provide everything for a bathroom. definitely will come stay here again! The water provided was a huge help and big thanks! 10/10
