CAMP VALENCIA
I had a private spot surrounded by trees and water. The pond I was next to was overgrown, but I bet that happens pretty quickly. Lots of bullfrogs, red-winged blackbirds and coyote howls. 3 ponds and right next to Rio Grande ditch (although I couldn't get to it unless I had a machete, LOL). Walking distance to Allsups. One can fish in the 1st pond and there were some little boats/kayaks. There aren't set camping spots. On about half of the camping land, you could see (or were next to) a farm/hothouse/growing operation so not so much privacy there but you can always face the other way! When the pack of dogs visit your campsite, they are friendly. Just be alert when walking or riding past Roseanna's house. I spent a week and enjoyed my stay. Roseanna was a good camp host.

Misrespresented.
It was an empty lot with a hole in the ground that was filled up with water. Junk was on the side that looked like it had been there for years. Right next to houses. You be the judge.

A secluded option next to River. Owner has a small and friendly pack of dogs that come around to say “hi”. You will enter vis a big gate marked as private property to get in. Just drive on through.

No response after booking online
We booked online through the App in the morning and did not get a reply! We did not know the address so at 5pm we had to make other plans... hope they do not charge our credit card since we could not stay there. I am Sure there was a good reason because we have had good experiences since December with Hipcamp... hate to write a bad review but if you have an insta-book option it should be same day when traveling

Convenient stay close Albuquerque
We were looking for a hipcamp outside of Albuquerque and this one was it. Rose’s land is about 40 minutes from Albuquerque (or less) and it’s easy to reach. We saw an incredible amount of geese and other birds flying through. There was a really nice fire pit already set up and dry wood around on site. Really beautiful views of the pond, moon and stars at night. You can hear some cars, dogs and coyotes throughout the night.
