Rosemary Lane 2
I think the only problem I think we had was the mosquitoes with all of the water laying around that could’ve been a heads up just for me not for anybody else. I’m new to is him Hipcamp stuff and I didn’t think about mosquitoes but other than that we enjoyed it tremendously. It was very isolated and I loved it for my first time out.

La Cañada de Adelaida - Des Montes
Don was an amazing host- so friendly and helpful. He gave me a tour of his family’s land which is beautiful. My spit was very private and quiet, just what I was looking for.
I will be back again, thank you!

Plenty of Sun and shade with trees everywhere. Very quiet and relaxing getaway from city. I really enjoyed sitting around the camp fire in the evening. I can't wait to come back again.

Tio Willy's Rest Stop-Taos Plateau
We camped in our SUV. It was very remote and quiet. Lots of space. Nice views. Our dog loved to roam free on the property. The drive involved a lot of dirt road driving which may not be for everyone. If you're looking for a remote space with no one around, I would recommend.

Don't Pass This Up!
Our experience at Dragonfly Mountain Ranch was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth by our host, Don! He helped us get parked and set up-even in the rain!
The campsite itself was a nature lover's paradise. You are literally surrounded by 360 degrees of breathtaking views! It offered the perfect blend of tranquility and adventure.
What truly set this experience apart, however, was the hospitality of Don and all of his wonderful friends. They went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was unforgettable. Whether it was recommending the best spots to explore, sharing fascinating stories about the area, or simply checking in to see if we needed anything, their genuine care and attention to detail made us feel like family.
In addition, Arroyo Seco is a cute little village just a couple miles up the road. Arroyo Seco is full of local shops and little restaurants! Check out the Taos Cow for ice cream, coffee and yummy sandwiches! It's a great spot to take a break and sit out back by the river!
Our time at Dragonfly Mountain Ranch exceeded all expectations. We left feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and grateful for the opportunity to connect with nature and wonderful people like Don. We can't wait to return and create more unforgettable memories in this magical place. Highly recommended to anyone seeking a truly remarkable camping experience!

Magical Trip to Taos
Dragonfly Mountain Ranch is, hands down, incredible (and full of history!). It has spectacular 360 degree views (including the stunning Sangre de Cristo mountains/Wheeler Peak), and was the perfect spot to disconnect. D.T. and his family are beyond wonderful, generous, communicative and helpful. We brought our 3y/o son, two pups and 24ft. travel trailer — and had so much room to roam (we do recommend having 4WD) and unwind. We felt extremely safe, had plenty of privacy and couldn’t get over the views. I HIGHLY recommend stopping here to explore Taos, Arroyo Seco and surrounding areas. Thank you, D.T. and family!
