Off-grid rustic Mushroom yurt. This little yurt can sleep up to four people. It has a bunk bed cot and a queen size tri-fold mattress. There is a picnic table, a fire pit, and an outhouse. Taos is approximately 30 miles, Red River 20 miles and Questa is 9 miles away. Cell service is good with Verizon and T-Mobile. I will provide a small power station to charge your devices. It is heated! Sunshine rd is plowed in the winter, the driveway is not plowed. 4WD/AWD may be needed in winter. This little yurt is located on 5 acres, not too far off the Highway in Northern Taos County. The site offers a good amount of privacy and beautiful views of the mountains and valley.

The Mushroom Yurt
A spiritual experience
It was amazing… They thought of everything. You can tell this is a labor of love and we had a magical time. Desolate, peaceful, private… LOVELY. The views were incredible, the yurt was large and so comfy cozy. The amenities were more than we could’ve hoped for… If they keep this as private and secluded as it is now… We will come frequently and often. Like another world out there. Love love love.

The Mushroom Yurt
Yurt was perfect! Such a cool experience and quite close to Zapata Falls and Great Sand Dunes National Park . The setting is quite beautiful and peaceful . I wish I would have had a few days but only could stay for one. Has a solar shower, compost bathroom, covered picnic and hammock area . Very easy directions using google maps . Highly recommend.
