Gallop in! Some sites cater to Hipcampers on horseback.
A quiet property on the outskirts of Tamworth, a seven-minute drive to the town centre or the Country Music Capital festivities. Walking distance to the local pub and general store.
We offer a flat block, with options for shade by the large pepper and gum trees. There are sweeping mountain views, no street lights, and plentiful birdlife to enjoy.
We provide on-site power and bore water (which is drinkable) and also unpowered sites however we DO NOT have toilet or shower facilities so all campers must be self-sufficient in this regard.
Dogs are welcome but must be under control or on a leash at all times. Horses welcome also.
Children under 12 stay free - please just ensure they're added to the booking so we can keep on top of the numbers. (you will not be charged).
Adela Park offers a peaceful camping experience with the charm of nature and the convenience of being close to Tamworth. Geoff, the host, is widely praised for his hospitality and for providing power and water. The setting under the shade of peppercorn trees is a hit with many campers, though some have mentioned issues with bindi-eyes and the roaming dog. Overall, campers appreciate the spaciousness and tranquility, making it a favorable spot for both short and extended stays.
Great spot for a weekend away at the Tamworth country music festival. Short car or bus trip into town and a nice quiet green space to return to at the end of a busy day. Friendly host.
Geoff was a very welcoming host.
Campsite was lovely and spacious with a beautiful outlook.
This was a very convenient location for visiting the country music festival.
We had a wonderful stay at Adela Park! Geoff was a wonderful host and very accommodating. We stayed here during the Tamworth Country Music Festival, the property is close enough to town for our daily adventures but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. There were a number of other guests but the property is well spaced that we didn’t even hear them. Thank you Geoff for opening up your property to us 😊
What a gem !great place to stay lovely shade under peppercorn trees with power and plenty of water on site to fill your van .Geoff and his collie betty are very friendly and will help you out .highly recommend Adela park we spent 7 nights here .was a great place to base ourselves for the Tamworth country music festival.
We camped for 5 nights at Geoff’s under the beautiful Peppercorn tree which gave us fantastic shade, during the music festival. Geoff was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed.
We will be back.
