Located at Mandalong, a small rural community near the town of Morisset and west of Lake Macquarie, New South Wales. The established green 112 acre equine property has the Watagan Mountains as the backdrop. We are approximately 5 minutes off the M1 Motorway and 1 hour drive north of Sydney. For those wanting to explore further, we are 40 minutes out from the Hunter Valley and a nice drive to stunning local beaches, cafes and restaurants.

The Serenity

“The Back Paddocks”

What a stunning spot for our recent overnight stay, and yet only 5 minutes from the freeway. We were the only campers there and the views and the tranquility were amazing. After a long drive it was wonderful to wander and explore the property. The animals were all so friendly, especially Sully and Little Moo. We only wish we could have stayed longer, but look forward to visiting again.

Beautiful open space. Fantastic views. Lovely people who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. And such lovely horses 🐴❤️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ place to stay. Thanks Jade and helpers for my 1st ever horse riding experience it was amazing. I will be back for more.

“The Back Paddocks”

We loved our stay at Jade’s property. It was beautiful and private. Our kids loved visiting the horses and playing with the two dogs, Sully & Basil, that live there. We really enjoyed the fresh eggs and herbs and Jade went out of her way to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. Thanks for hosting us!

Been here twice now and such an amazing place to stay. Feels remote and quiet but only 5-10 mins away from shops. Excellent communication from host Jade. Will be back. Thanks again!

So near, yet so far

So near yet so far. Stunning property with acres of space for off grid camping. Jade and Lisa are great hosts and the location is so relaxing I stayed for 4 days to chillax. Only 90 minutes from the Sydney CBD and a few minutes out of Morrissett.
