At Hamiltons Hideaway we have 6 generous sites set on the banks of Pelican Creek. Fishing, mud crabs and wildlife at your site. With access to the Manning River with either a canoe, kayak, SUP or tinny. Or just fish off the bank for a flathead, bream or mullet. Spacious area for a game of cricket or just for the kids to run around. Relax by the creek of an afternoon watching the sunset.
We are located 5mins from the Pacific Highway, 5mins to Harrington and 10mins to Crowdy Head. Close to town for shops and courtesy buses run to the property from the local pubs and club.
Close to national parks and a short drive to beaches, waterfalls and mountain views.
Hamilton's Hideaway offers a peaceful retreat by the river, just a short drive from Harrington's amenities. Campers appreciate the spacious, well-maintained sites and the friendly, accommodating hosts, Jaimie and Greg. While the river offers great kayaking and fishing opportunities, some guests noted the lack of mobile reception as both a blessing and a limitation. Overall, the combination of nature, space, and welcoming hosts makes this campsite a favorite for those looking to unwind close to nature.
Hamilton hideaway was a beautiful peaceful location. Good clear directions. Jaimie and Greg were very accommodating and friendly. It is set alongside a creek where you can throw a line in or take your kayak. Highly recommended if you’re looking to just relax
Jamie and David were great hosts! Easy to talk to, friendly and helpful. The camp ground had luscious prickle free green grass and the allotment to camp on was really generous.
We took our kayaks and had a great time paddling around. Saw kangaroos, deer, and a variety of bird life.
We couldn't recommend them highly enough. Thank you for your hospitality. We had a great easter weekend.
We had a great relaxing time at Jaimie's property.
Plenty of space, quiet, creek for fishing, amazing birds to look at and the cutest kelpie that came and spent the afternoon with us. Loved it!!
