Little over an hour from Canberra and three from Sydney, you can enjoy large campsites right on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River. Swimming, floating down rapids, fishing, bike riding, and hiking! So many activities to keep you entertained or just sit back and listen to the rapids from the front of your tent. We are pet friendly, bring your four-legged family members with you - they'll love it just as much as you! We also have secure yards with water for horses, with plenty of walking and riding trails on the farm, you'll have an unforgettable time! Please note, no mobile reception at sites. You will receive a notification 2 days before arrival with the gate code, please note this down as you will not be able to access the Hipcamp app on site (due to no mobile reception). There is plenty of space to spend time with family and friends with the beautiful Ponds Mountain serving as a picturesque backdrop. Guests staying with us must be fully self-contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Well-behaved pets are welcome to join you! We are a working cattle farm, so stock may be about so please keep this in mind.

This campsite along the Murrumbidgee River is a tranquil retreat perfect for families and nature enthusiasts looking to unplug. With easy access to the river, the spot is ideal for swimming, fishing, and simply soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Guests frequently mention the friendly host, Ben, and enjoy interactions with local wildlife, including cows and birds. While access to the site is straightforward, some visitors noted minor challenges with instructions initially, but this did not detract from their overall positive experience.

Beautiful location on Ben's land. We had the most wonderful time, swam in the river and had a campfire. Directions to get to Jarabin were spot on and the place was easy to find. We have booked to go again.

Amazing hosts. Beautiful location. Very peaceful with some native birds to listen to dawn and dusk. Also sounds of the river which was lovely. Very friendly cows that are happy to greet you. Enough space for 15-16ft offroad caravan to stay. Roads in out well maintained. Will be back again to explore.
