Mud and Petals is a 100 acre property, a gentle bush farm perfect for those wanting to take a break without being hours from town. Located beautifully between popular beaches of Minnie waters and Wooli and also the mighty Clarence river. Just a few minutes away from the Village town of Tucabia with handy store supplying fuel, coffee, takeaway food and bottleshop. Ulmarra's famous heritage pub on the river is only 10 minutes away. Take a 25 minute drive to the beach or just stay on the property to explore. The property is a handy overnight stay from those travelling the coast, taking a detour off the highway, cutting off traveling directly through Grafton. Take advantage of the roadside site for short stays or enjoy the fire circle site for larger groups and longer stays, a beautiful flat space with a central fireplace and stary night views. Big sky campsite is designed to be romantic, a nice small spot under a huge night time expanse for a swag. Pop the question and enjoy a bottle of wine to make it a memory never to forget. Very happy to discuss creating a magical night, let's talk about flowers, fairy lights and picnic baskets. Very happy to discuss your needs. This site is just off the road, the top smaller paddock of the property, great for a caravan stop over. Or just a cheap camping spot. Just pull in, set up, enjoy a walk down the back once settled in. Pop into Tucabia just a few minutes drive, turning left out the front gate you can drop the tinny into the coldstream for a fish, grab a fish and chip dinner, burgers, hot coffee, 6 pack of beer or to refuel before heading off. Or take a 10 minute drive into the beautiful village of Ulmarra which boasts art galleries, antique and books shops and the famous Ulmarra pub situated on the banks of the clarence river. Turn right at the gate and your headed 25 minutes down the road to either Wooli or Minnie waters, two family friendly beaches to spend the day. The site is positioned by the old hardwood timber cattle yards which have been converted to gardens, a bit over grown and mysterious, help yourself to garden cuttings. The property itself is abundant in wildlife and brilliant for animal lovers or photographers. Out 'Big Sky' you'll find the wetlands full of water fowl, black swans, jabirus and brolgas who often nest out there. You'll find turtles, water dragons, possums the occasional roo and of course meet Allan our friendly brahman bull who resides at Mud and Petals.
