Spend some time exploring the Deua National Park which is home to the Big Hole and the Marble Arch. Stroll along the banks of the Shoalhaven River and go for a dip.
We offer powered and unpowered camping, a cabin and a hut.
The property has two large grass sites where power can be provided. Located a short stroll to amenities and approx 50m from the dam where you can sit and relax or enjoy your meals at a communal BBQ area. The campsites have access to a toilet, shower and laundry. Guests can enjoy use of drinking water, a picnic table for meals and rubbish facilities.
Louisa's Cabin is a studio style cabin with a small kitchenette (water from outdoor tank), cosy couches around an indoor fireplace and a lush King Bed. The bathroom is a shared amenities block with 2 showers and 3 toilets a short walk through the gardens. There is access to a laundry.
Paddy's Hut is self-contained for your comfort, and the perfect location for a family getaway, a group of friends to relax and unwind, or offer the creature comforts to stage you wildlife adventures from.
Enjoy the evenings around the campfire as you tell tales under the stars.
Pets are welcome, but please be aware the owners have two of their own friendly dogs who are likely to stop by and say hello.
Witt's End offers a mix of experiences for campers. The hosts are consistently praised for their friendliness and the facilities for being clean and well-maintained. Campers appreciate the beautiful surroundings and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. However, some reviews mention issues with overcrowding at powered sites and noise from nearby roads and other campers.
We had the whole place to ourselves, the hosts were exceptionally friendly and the lawns freshly mowed. The bathrooms were nice and clean. It was a great experience for my family, I recommend this stay to others with young kids.
Overall we did enjoy our stay.
It was easy to find and the rooms have alot of old world charm which is what we enjoy.
The location was relaxing and peaceful.
I could suggest that the room could have been given a dust and vacuum before we arrived.
Understandably given being out of town it's dusty but it was a bit like oone had been in the room for quite a while.
I would also recommend that the bathroom amenities were given a thorough clean.
I did take it upon myself to spray and scrub the walls and shower seat and the toilet in the bigger bathroom for me and my family to use.
What the diggers cabin provided us was a relaxing fee days to finish out trip.
Just needs a little bit of TLC.
Regards
We didn’t get to meet the hosts but they were communicative and seemed really lovely and friendly via phone and message. Ammenities were clean and well looked after. Two showers with nice hot water, three toilets and a washing machine (we didn’t use but nice to have available). The property itself was beautifully maintained and very neat, however about 20-30 minute detour from our main journey from Melb to Syd. While we loooove dogs, and have dogs of our own at home, on this particular night there were many dogs saying at the campground and barking regularly. One pup in particular howled all night. We stayed in the unpowered tent only camping section and the sites were very close together. The campers next to us arrived quite late at night to set up. This wasn’t really an issue for us, but could imagine how that might be annoying for light sleepers or campers with young children. Overall we had an enjoyable stay and the hosts very clearly care about their property and campers. Undecided as to whether we would come back or not.
