Blue Wind Nature Camp
We had a great time at Blue Wind Nature Camp! The property is quite beautiful and there are lots of trails to be explored. We brought our dog, and he had a great time exploring the woods off leash.
Mike was very responsive and hospitable during our stay. We needed a grill for cooking over the fire, and he was very quick to find one on the property and bring it to our site.
I highly recommend this camp, and we hope to be back soon!

Blue Wind Nature Camp
Mike was a great host. There were plenty of campsites to choose from, but they were distant enough to have some privacy. The set up of the sites anf the easy access was a plus. The kids had a blast with all the animals (chickens, dogs, kittens).

Family Camping
Mike was very hospitable. we were a family of 4 + dog. We had a nice site closest to the parking area but was able to pull in closer to the camp site to unload as we brought so much gear. This was hugely beneficial (thank you!). We also had access to fire wood, which was very convenient. The bathroom was great to have - just for a real toilet access, we didn't use the shower. There is also a hose and wash station on the deck for potable water or just to wash up. We explored the 50-acre property which is dense and spotted some deer (no hunting). It was buggy but not terrible, just bring repellent. The area had decent flat areas to pitch a tent. The general surrounding area is really nice, and you're close to the nearby town if you need supplies (we didn't need to venture out). Mike has two dogs (very friendly / entertaining and loved to play frisbee and ball) and beautiful chickens! My dog is a bit old and didn't realize the chickens were close but just make sure to take care if you have a dog with you as the chickens are free range and will likely wander close to site. We will definitely return.

Great Weekend in the Woods!
Mike’s land is beautiful. My family and I particularly enjoyed the tall trees and ambience of the woods. Mike was a very kind host and was readily available to answer any questions I had during our stay. Even though we had some rainfall it was still fun and the rain was great ambience when sleeping. I would definitely recommend this sweet spot to anyone who wants to camp in a woodsy area.

Serene spot & outstanding amenities
We've camped a decent amount, from national parks to hipcamp, Mike's is one of my favorite spots. Highlights: forest setting, free firewood, not far from town, hiking, and fishing. Lovely bonus, Mike is a good guy.
The site we chose required some schlepping of supplies. Far enough to feel private but not so far that I was grumpy. All sites I saw all had a slew of conveniences- stone fire pit, grate, charcoal grill, picnic table, camping chairs, metal can with lid for trash. Our spot also had a clean and empty cooler, a prep table near the grill, and tongs. On top of this, Mike keeps an indoor bathroom accessible(including TP & soap), a full supply of additional dry firewood (including a wheelbarrow & splitter), and an outdoor prep kitchen(including a sponge & dish soap). Seriously, I don't know what more I could want.
The location was quiet at night with fabulous stars when the clouds stayed away. The sites were clear and the tent ground was soft. Fishing is ample in the area (Trout Town USA) and it's a short drive to Livingston Manor and Roscoe. Both towns have some great food, shops, and breweries. Hiking is so accessible and it was lovely just to explore the woods around the camp.
Genuinely, this spot is amazing. You should just go ahead and book already.
