Camping Under the Stars!
Semirs land at Moomin Valley was just what I was looking for. A quaint, wide open space surrounded by lush greenery and towering pines. A perfect outdoor getaway close to Syracuse and a 4 min drive from the beautiful village of Cazenovia. A quick 2 mile trip to Miers Creek Brewery and Critz Farms for drinks, followed by a breathtaking starlit evening by the campfire far exceeded my expectations for this experience. Semir provided a table, chairs, a hammock and extra firewood. If you’re thinking about staying here, look no farther, you will not be disappointed.

Kind host, beautiful place!
Although I also happened to stay on a beautiful night, Semir was so incredibly nice and accommodating and provided features I didn’t expect like a hammock, a rocking seat with other chairs by the fire ring and plenty of wood for the fire. He also did not have a strict time to leave by and it was just a nice time to get away and enjoy the spot!

Had a great stay!
Moomin Valley was a lovely property with lots of fun amenities. Semir was a very hospitable host! They were not lying about how good the stars are too, really beautiful.

Not for larger rigs...
Unfortunately, we were unable to stay. Although there were no size restrictions listed, there was no way to get our rig into and down the side of their house. It was raining as well and we were afraid we would get stuck down in their beautiful grassy yard. This would probably be a great place for a smaller rig tho.

I had a cozy and restful night on Semir's land. A beautiful and well-maintained camping area at the back of a field, with a fire pit and firewood provided, and the convenience of the tiny town of Nelson very close by.
