Charm private spot near everything!
If Bill weren’t such an attentive and interesting host I would be tempted to write a poor review so we could keep this gem to ourselves. Alas, Bill made us feel welcome and cared for - even started a roaring fire for our arrival. We were two families with kids and a dog. We stayed in the bigger of the two cabins and set up two tents on the grounds.
Bill built the cabins by himself and the thoughtfulness is apparent, although small and adorable, the cabins have plenty of sleeping and storage space. Beds were made with soft clean sheets and blankets! There are lots of places to cook and eat. It’s easy to burn, recycle or toss debris as appropriate.
The grounds allow for easy exploring- probably more if you are so inclined. At night, the stars were so bright even our screen loving children were gazing with wonder.
The town of Tannersville is a fun ten minute drive. There are restaurants, antique shops, coffee shops, a n outdoor gear place and much more. Highly recommend checking it out.
Lastly the biking hiking swimming skiing options within a short drive are numerous. We saw the Kaaterskill Falls which is well worth the trip!

Enjoyed the remote cabin
Nice private land high up in the Catskills. Lots of private trails on property as well as state trails close by. Great vibe out the woods, enjoyed the basic cabin and campfire. William was very nice. Cell coverage not great in the area. Check out Kaaterskill falls via the local trolly
