Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Three Cedars is the original dairy farm in the area. Our house was built in 1824, and the original barn is here as well. They put the homestead in a gorgeous spot that we knew we needed to find a way to share. We strive to provide a place to take refuge, create, get your hands dirty, meditate, contemplate, heal, laugh, and love. And we hope to provide folks the space to breathe, connect to others, themselves, and the earth. Learn more about this land: You'll stay at the top of a hill with a beautiful view. We are a smallish farmstead with plenty of animals to hang out with. In season there are eggs from turkeys, guineas, and chickens included, as well as whatever you'd like to pick from our gardens! The roosters and tom turkeys will wake you, but not too early, we promise! Please let us know if you'd like to try your hand at milking a goat, get a tour of the farmstead, and/or pick enough berries to make a bit of jam to bring home. You're welcome to join us for a chef cooked breakfast for $10 per person. To find out about the best places in the area for whatever you might enjoy just ask. Just notify us when you make your reservation if you'd like breakfast, choose well, we only do this once per stay. There are plenty of hiking trails, water falls, lakes, antique stores, and of course, there's Ithaca, the closest you'll get to the progressive feel of the Pacific Northwest without the 10 hour flight! You'll stay at the top of a hill with a beautiful view. Lovely and remote
Had a great 2 night stay at three cedars farmstead. We came for the goats and other animals, so weren’t disappointed. The location is remote and beautiful, and Jules is a lovely host that is generous with her time, expertise, and equipment. We had a number of issues with our camper, so were high maintenance guests, but Jules was very patient and helpful in getting us what we needed.

I highly recommend three cedars farmstead. This was my second time there and I plan to keep coming back! Jules and Stephen are wonderful hosts. Jules even taught us how to milk goats! If you love animals this is the place for you. It is also the perfect location about 30 minutes from Ithaca.

We had a lot of fun staying at Three Cedars Farmstead. Jules was a great host and helped us with everything we needed and told us about surrounding activities (as well as things to do at the farmstead). The farmstead is beautiful and we were able to see all the stars at night and cook in the fire pit. In the morning we were able to milk a goat and hang out with all the animals. Super fun time!

Great stay & animals, amazing view!
Fantastic stay, hospitable guests, friendly curious livestock, (goats, sheep, turkeys). Spacious land that gives enough private space to be comfortable. Very few bugs when I went in August, and NO TICKS! which is partially due to the guinea fowl that patrolled the property. Great all around!
